Our room was spotless and in perfect order. The staff nearly fall over each other trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Elevator out of order for more than one week. No seats available for having a cocktail anywhere in the hotel without a reservation—or even to sit down. Overcharged at breakfast repeatedly. Indifferent staff. Restaurant food nothing remarkable but pretty expensive. Low frequency buzz in room at night.

The Stafford is a marvelous hotel -- you feel as though you are in fine home that just happens to be set up for lots of company. The staff are marvelous -- first, highly competent, which is crucial, but on top of that genuinely welcoming and courteous without overdoing it. The American Bar was a real treat especially late-night after theater -- try the Amphora Negroni: a unique treatment of a classic.

Very nice hotel. Room is a little small. Staff and dining room needs improvement. There was a lack of interest in providing service. Nice Concierge.

Our stay at the Stafford Hotel was Wonderful! Our room was clean and well appointed. The morning breakfast was delicious and there were so many options to choose from. The staff at the restaurant (Alberto and Luca) were amazing. So friendly and accommodating! We looked forward to our interaction with them everyday! The housekeeping staff keep the rooms spotless and do a great job! The hotel staff are friendly and engaging. Nick the front doorman is a wonderful welcome whether you are coming or going, he was friendly and helpful. The Concierge services were great too! Thank you Tom for all of your advice and help! We stayed for two weeks at this beautiful hotel and we felt so comfortable and welcome there. We went to the American Bar a few nights to get something for dinner. The food is good and the atmosphere is fun! We enjoyed our stay at the Stafford! It's definitely one of our all time favorite hotels! The beds are comfortable. We had a lovely view of the Eye and the Shard. Our room was also very quiet. We can say enough about this hotel. If you are visitng London and you want a lovely hotel that is close to everything, but you don't want all the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you! They also have a secret passageway to get to Green Park. This is where you can catch the Underground Tube and get to most places in London. Walk the other way and you at Buckinham Palace. Wonderful Hotel, Lovely Stay! Highly Recommend!

We always enjoy our stay at the Stafford and we look at to the excellent service and lovely food. As always everything lived up to expectations, and especially the wonderful breakfast, served by Alberto, who made sure everything was perfect. It is always a pleasure to see Luca and his team, who are so helpful and positive, nothing is too much trouble and this is why we keep coming back to the Stafford. Thank you Luca, Alberto and all the team once again.

The only thing that caused us concern was getting into and out of your bath tub in our room whether for a shower or a bath...very precarious and no handles to hold onto to prevent a fall. That's a very high bath wall to step over to get into that tub and without a handle to steady you, quite dangerous. Exiting tub has same problem. Thank God we're still 72. Will be tougher later.
