Helpful staff. If I needed anything, it was brought to my room in minutes. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable.

Front desk especially during check - in can improve especially when guests arrive after a long day.

The staff was very helpful in showing us what sights to see in the area. It was nice being in town.

The lodge was amazing and the rooms were great. I loved how the toilet and sink area were separated. It was within walking distance to public transit and to downtown! I would stay here again.

Very nice pool and whirlpool. That staff we all very helpful and kind. The rooms were quiet. I remember one guy named Stanley trying to help me find a quiet place to work. Ultimately it didn’t work because I needed a power cord but he was so kind I wanted to give him a shout out. :)

The from was recently redone, nice however upon checking in after 230 pm, the desk clerk said “ I am going to upgrade you to a larger room so you don’t have to wait for your room to be done” OK, funny since it was pretty late afternoon and the hotel wasn’t even 50percent full, got to the very nice room. 1st floor in a back corner and street level with our view of the passerby’s not 20 feet from our windows. A bit uncomfortable to me as anyone looking our way could easily see in. Curtains closed while in the room, not relaxing! Television didn’t work well, audio was staccato due to poor internet, new drain in shower clogs, room key stopped working, had to wait a few hours for a new one since the front desk clerk was having a horrible time with internet and his password, he was really trying and getting nowhere, as beautifully redone rooms Are, not a 5 or 4 star hotel. The hot tub and pool were very good, staff were nice, maid not observant - never refilled empty coffee bags. Had to go to front desk for one and he had to dig through drawers to find one. Is it management? Training? Could be both!

I would suggest instructions for the shower, hard to know what all the levers were for

It was a good stay overall. However, I think the hotel would benefit from having a laundry room for guests. I was also surprised that parking is not included and requires an additional fee. Charging guests separately for hotel parking does not feel very professional (even though the cost is low) and could be improved.

The rooms are newly remodeled. The pool and hot tub were closed for renovations.

We just liked how clean it was with modern amenities and friendly staff. We will definitely stay there again should we find ourselves again in Banff in the near future!!!

TERRIBLE! As someone that has stayed here multiple times. Was extremely disappointed with this stay. Was told all amenities would be available and they were not. Very misleading during construction.

The room was clean, and modern. The bed was sooo comfortable. I was very please to see our room had hardwood floors instead of disgusting carpets you find most of the hotels. However, the restaurant was a désappointement. The food was average but at Banff price ($$).

Great stay at the Royal Canadian Lodge. Friendly staff, newly renovated rooms, and a fantastic on-site restaurant. The Spanish paella was delicious and the lemon drop hit the spot. Highly recommend.

Small hotel. It was under construction. Prices were really high for what we got.
