Good location near the beach and restaurants. Enjoyed our stay

I saw previous reviews about the cleanliness so was concerned. However, the place was very clean and presented really well. The balcony glass was cleaned and had an amazing evening and sunset up there! It was perfect. Some areas show quite a bit of wear and tare but generally it was clean. Only negative was that there was no hand soap of any kind provided so to wash hands in the bathroom / WC meant getting shower gel from the shower.

We were in a suite (room 808). There is a slight issue with that room (and possibly other rooms). The shower waste water outlet is slightly blocked so that waste water discharges only slowly. As a result, there was some (quite a lot actually) waste water overflow onto the bathroom floor (we did ask for an extra towel to mop it up but the extra towel never arrived). I think room 808 requires two things: (A) check the shower waste water outlet for a possible (partial) blockage; (B) room 808 needs to have a moisture extraction fan built in (and preferably also allow the window to be slightly opened). Both things need to be done. Otherwise, the bathroom will deteriorate rapidly. We could live with it as we were there only one night but others might be less tolerant (or have a longer stay). Rydges Cronulla is a great hotel with a perfect location. My girlfriend and I had stayed there before so we were happy to book it again. However, please be mindful of the bathroom design and plumbing.

The check in was great. They were able to allow me early access to the room. All the amenities were great.

The property was well maintained and the staff at the Hotel were amazing. The staff and food at the surround restaurants were amazing as well. Great weekend.

Great location and the property presented well, was clean, the staff were helpful during check in. The only downside was that the hot water was not at all hot and the shower leaked a lot of water onto the bathroom floor. We also paid $30 for car parking and were not able to enter or exit the car park with the number plate recognition, it didn't work for our car.

Was great loved our stay there only complaints were the lifts were slow ant the toilet paper came off the holder every time you used it otherwise it was fantastic

The carpet was not cleaned - the balcony was not cleaned upon arrival. There were spider webs, dust and dirt on both balconies. When staff were asked for water or toilet paper, they never never delivered the goods. Staff entering room, unannounced. Drink vouchers were given for the bar which said valid every day however, it was closed on Monday. Breakfast timing was ridiculous. We showed up for breakfast at 9:30am, after charging us for breakfast and paying For our party of 5, they then announced that the kitchen was closed, and we could only eat what was available at the time. Communication from the room to staff was horrible. Could not call or contact reception or housekeeping using the into internal phone system. No one would ever answer. We booked a one bedroom apartment with a kitchen however, there were no cutlery or plates or enough crockery in the kitchen to accommodate us during a stay. There was no dishwashing liquid to wash the cups or tea towels to dry them.

Fantastic room with ocean view. Rydges is well priced and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

The quality of the room was very poor. Room was dirty with lots of dust and grime built up and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The bathroom had what looked like a cheap unfinished renovation, and was dirty with mould on the tile grout everywhere. Definitely will not be going back to the Rydges at Cronulla!

Had NO Airconditioning had spoken to the reception said they would fix it still no AC had the AC fan but refrigerated air made sleeping very hard had meeting each day and was tied due to no AC They should have moved me

Fabulous views. Very comfy bed. Nice size room and bathroom. Would have liked a toaster and plates and cutlery. Also difficulty leaving the garage. Notices need to be more specific.
