Clean room well serviced

Room service could be better. On the first morning they took all our towels and put 2 towels in there for 4 people, no floor mats or hand towels. Beds not made up. Also lice all over the property. We have bites all over us. Pool and water park where not heated as stated on website. Older female waitress at breakfast was very rude and pushy hurrying us up with breakfast when we still had 30 minutes before the end of service!

Did not see any staff at all ! Did not get my room i booked ! Did not sleep ! Was violently ill with asthma and vomiting!!! Due to the mould frthe door to around the entire roof ceiling AND CURTAINS??? I EXPECT TO BE HEARD ! AS I TOLD THE LADY IN THE OFFICE! I DIDNT BOOK THAT BOOMERANG BUILDING!!! DUE TO ITS AFFECTS ON ME !!! SHE HAD SOMEWHAT A I DONT CARE ATTITUDE! AND SAID SO IF YOU DONT LIKE IT , THEN YOU LEAVE STRAIGHT AWAY? I SAID NO ! THE COMPUTER KNOWS WHERE I STAY THERE ( WHAT UNITS) I SAID I WAS HAPPY TO UPGRADE!!! SHE LIED SND SAID THERE WERE NO ROOMS LEFT !!! SHE LIED !!! THERE WERE ABOUT 7 ROOMS TO FAMILY UNITS NEAR OFFICE! I OFFERED TO PAY THE EXTRA! SHE WAS ADOMENTLY ROOD , AND KEPT SAYING THAT THERE'S NOTHING AVAILABLE, FOR 1 NIGHT ! I LOVE YOU GUYS YOUR MY HOME AND FAMILY AWAY FROM HOME AND BEAUTIFUL SOULS, BUT IVE NEVER EVER CROSSED THIS BEHAVIOUR AND DEFIANT ATTITUDE, AT MY OAKS BEFORE OR EVEN ANY OFF THE POOL, GROUNDS,CLEANERS, STAFFING ! BUT IT NEEDS TO ADDRESSED,

1st class facilities

We loves the Oaks Caloundra, staff are always lovely and helpful plus they have activities over the school holidays. The Happy Hour for adults is a winner for us and we will be keen to return.

Yes the room was spotless and lovely to stay in. Very roomy.

Kids had a great time. Seems to be renovated since our last visit

Room a long way from reception

Kids loved the water park and activities. Rooms mainly aircon, carpet etc. were pretty tired and in need of maintenance / deep clean / upgrade. Bathrooms were nice and new.

Never stay at this hotel. Their profits mean more to them than your stay

Our designated car park wasn’t available due the hotel have skip bin in it. The directions to finding our room were poor. A permanent tenant had to help us.

Plenty of choice for breakfast . Fresh fruit and yoghurts as well as hot option , tea and coffee

Very clean and comfortable room, however didnt get a twin room we booked. Also very noisy, paper thin walls. Otherwise nice grounds, staff good.

Reception staff were wonderful and efficient. Bar staff were all trainees except for one which could make for frustrating evenings when ordering and paying. Particularly when it wasnt busy (pre school holidays) Buffet breakfast was 5/5 Dinner from Oak and Vine was 4.5/5 The deck around the pool was mouldy, slippery and some of the wood palings were loose, which was uncomfortable. The black out curtains in both rooms had extensive holes in all four of them. There was mould in room where our friends stayed. Our room was perfect except for the holes in the black out curtains. Amenities appear to need repair to restore this place back to its former glory

Clean tidy room friendly staff. Wifi was not connected time I was there with Continual reminders to reception. Walkable to Caloundra

Needs new furniture and more blanket

We certainly didn't feel very comfortable in our room, the air on was very unpredictable and when we went to the pool to cool down there was not one staff member or lifeguard manning the kids area with the slides. It was left up to perants, and obviously when you put a bar in a kids area, perants will drink and not give a damn about others or the kids. My child was pushed down the slide by a bunch of teenage boys, and when they came down they slide in a train, they kicked a little baby in the head. The resort is very lucky they don't have a law suit on their hands. The buffet breakfast was very average and apparently when ordering a coffee, it's ok if they get it wrong regardless of allergies. Pretty disappointed 😞

Excellent meals but not a big choice

Our stay was great. Location is excellent and so is the service. The only thing I'd fault is that the food isn't the best at the restaurant. The room was very clean, and the rest of the facilities were great. I'd stay there again.
