My recent stay at the Crowne Plaza Harrogate was excellent from start to finish. The hotel’s location is fantastic, making it easy to explore Harrogate and enjoy everything the town has to offer. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and provided all the comfort you’d expect from a quality hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the shower was powerful and consistently hot – always appreciated after a long day. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice and everything fresh and well presented. What really stood out, though, was the friendliness of the staff. Everyone I encountered was welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it delivered everything you’d hope for from a top-quality hotel: excellent service, cleanliness, comfort, and a great atmosphere. A wonderful stay and somewhere I would happily return to in the future.

Clean room, ideal for an overnight stay

Good hotel, well situated and definitely value for money. If car park can’t be made any bigger (understand why) then more considerate parking by those that use it would help as spend much time circling and re circling to find a space.

No issues checking in. Staff were pleasant and the hotel was nice and clean. Plenty of space in the car park for £15 a day. Ideal location for the shops, pubs and restaurants.

The whole hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful. The underground carpark was a bonus and the walk into town only took about 10 minutes. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Without many notice we were given a room with adjoining door to the next room .. the noise from the next room was such that we had to request another room.. then the 2nd room had a double bed instead of the twin we had booked . A single duvet was supplied with no cover , the double duvet was put on the floor on day 2 . The bathroom extractor didn’t work. The whole hotel is somewhat jaded and not at all what I had expected .

The hotel is good but unfortunately the breakfast did let it down the coffee was cold and also the food was on the servers. The pillows are also so hard like sleeping on a brick

A very comfortable stay. Met all our needs. Shout out to helpful reception staff. Also front desk gentleman managing breakfast. Lovely manner, very responsive and multi tasking as needed to make sure everyone was looked after. Gentleman in charge of making sure breakfast foods were available, worked hard and efficiently too. Breakfast offer very good, bar good, room good. Easy car parking and access to Harrogate

Watch out! They overbook you. I was forced at 9:40 pm to go to another hotel that they arranged in front of me. OK so get to stay in harrogate again for free with them and the got me another hotel, but I was planning to use the gym etc prior to my work the next day. Staff were nice and apologetic and got me sorted in an inferior hotel but this policy is unbelievable.

A perfect venue for the conference centre and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. So much choice and really good quality. Note - we had an accessible room on the third floor. The room was great but the 03:30 fire alarm caused us some issues. Our mistake for not ticking the ‘need assistance’ box at check in.

The room was clean. But quite small for a premium room. No sofa and breakfast was quite basic. Would expect better for crown plaza

Our room was very clean. The staff during the day were extremely helpful, alas, not so much when we had a problem during the night. The hotel gave us a credit for this. The breakfast was fine, although, as expected on a bank holiday, super busy. We did not appreciate the proximity of the hotel to the conference centre. Therefore, maybe an idea to check if there is a conference on when you visit and what time it finishes in the evening.
