We stayed after running Edinburgh Marathon on 24th May, the man on reception that evening went above and beyond to help and accommodate us, 10/10 service when we really needed it, I would highly recommend this hotel just from our interactions with him. Nothing we asked was too much trouble, amazing service.

I’ve stayed in 2 other Leonardo hotels however this one wasn’t so great, the 2 bedside lamps weren’t working and hotel was old a lot of cracks in the doors and walls. We also didn’t have a very good experience one morning we had a guy peeing outside our bedroom door, I know this wouldn’t happen to all guests but it happed to us and that made our stay unpleasant. However location is good close to Edinburgh zoo.

The hotel was great. We added the breakfast and enjoyed it. But be warned although my email said breakfast is served until 10 they kind of get annoyed when you show up at 9:45 (we slept in our second day since we were getting used to the time change). The carpet is very 1970s. Other than that our stay was great

An enjoyable stay at the Leonardo Murrayfield. Perfect for a few days. The reception staff were lovely, warm and helpful during check in and check out. Really good public transport options from the hotel into town. Good gym facility. However, the restaurant had a couple of items on the menu that were not available on the evening we chose to dine in that limited pescaterian options (e.g. no salmon)

I found the restaurant was only open until 9.30pm & the bar shut at the same time & the menu very limited.

Good hotel with pleasant staff. Also has hood leisure facilities. Only issue was noise from corridor when in the room.

Returned from a full-day Highlands tour around 7:30 PM to find the hotel parking completely full, and only managed to get a spot in a far back corner. We had to drag all our luggage across the property to reception. The room itself was fine, but the dryer stopped working after 30 seconds. The next morning at 8:14 AM, I took my son for a swim but was told some areas of pool will closed for classes, which really disappointed him. The way it was communicated sounded like you have very little time and need to finish early. On the way back, the lift wasn’t working. I also saw several guests struggling with luggage because of the outage. The hotel is huge, maze-like, and if you’re placed in a corner room like mine (118), it’s easy to get lost. Overall, the experience wasn’t great.

Friendly, efficient staff and a lovely room with a view across Edinburgh to the Forth road bridge.

It’s a bit tired and not the usual Leonardo Hotel quality but ok for the price. The main issue was that it called The Leonardo Murrayfield hotel when it’s not actually in Murrayfield and over two miles away. Very misleading if you’re attending Murrayfield stadium and want a nearby hotel.

Only problem there from room calling to reception or calling from mobile they didn’t answer the call or maybe line faulty
