Parking was very and a distance from the hotel. Interesting property, very peaceful and well maintained. Quite white glove! Lots of families and couples, mostly local Danes.

Highly recommend this hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful, the view is breathtaking and the area around the hotel is beautiful. The hotel offers great value for money.

Lovely property with very friendly staff. Our only issue was that we arrived on a Friday afternoon and we did not know to pre book for dinner. The restaurant and cafe were both fully booked so he had to get room service or return to town. So book dinner in advance. A message from property suggesting we pre book would have been helpful.

Wonderful property and view. But my first night because of a big wedding I was Dewitt my room with no restaurant or bar access. Only room service available.

Beautiful environment and facilities

This hotel is a classic! It's old-world charm and beauty are meticulously preserved but has all the modern conveniences. It is beautiful and the setting is magnificent. The staff was wonderful and welcoming and ready to meet your every need. The dining was spectacular! I give this stay the highest marks possible. Everything was wonderful.

By far the most exceptional property in Kolding. We have stayed here 3 times now. We will be back again.

This was marketed as a place for a quiet stay. A great opportunity for some peace and quiet. Until it became a raucous wedding venue on our fourth night there. Considerable loss of amenity for other guests, no warning of it, loud music and voices until 2:15am. A conga line of complaining sleepless guests at the desk the next morning. A manager that went missing and left the reception staff to deal with it. Do not stay here. No concierge. No air conditioning in rooms. A fine dining restaurant that seemed to specialise in hamburgers. Great views.

Hotel Koldingfjord was fantastic, impressive, beautiful, peaceful, and more. I wish we spent more time here. I fell in love with Denmark in part because of Hotel Koldinfjord. I definitely want to return. The hotel was going through some construction improvements, but it did not take away from or joy in being there. If anything, it will make our next visit even more enjoyable.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very friendly! We ate the Prix fixe dinner in the dining room and it was Excellent! We highly recommend!

Great location, great property but lacking on staff attitude and food variation / quality

First off, I'm American. That said, it was an absolute delight to stay at this resort. The staff was extremely polite and the dining was incredible! More than anything, I loved being outside on the grounds and swimming in the fjord.

Beautiful grounds

Absolutely fabulous property and location, surrounded by lush forest and right on the fjord. So peaceful and inviting, wish we could stay here much longer. Rooms in the annex were older but large and well appointed with updated bathrooms. Windows at ground level easy to crawl through but no issues while there. Outstanding breakfast buffet but very limited availability of food for lunch and dinner, unnecessarily difficult and expensive to get food there. Overall, a great place to get away.
