A short walk from the town center. Plenty of parking options. Modern rooms and well kept. Recommend.

Nice hotel in downtown, very good location, many restaurants and bars around. The room is spacious and clean, everything went great.

A typical Mercure hotel. Has all the amenities, but does not have anything special.

Loved the location near the Loire river and chateau. Restaurant and bar were severely understaffed. Secure parking was available.

It’s not a 4 star hotel at all. We felt deceived.

The hotel was simple, clean, and had a friendly and welcoming staff. It's located right on the Loire river and across the street is a walking path along the river. It has a tiny parking garage as part of the hotel. It was perfect for our needs.

Restaurant offering dinner, where there might be a bit of difficulty with English. My order of a 3-course menu was originally taken wrong. With some efforts the appetizer and dessert could be added back. Nearby streets seemed a little run-down. 10-minute walk to Place Louis XII.

Lovely stylish hotel right on the Loire in the heart of Blois. Excellent underground cat park and super, helpful and friendly staff. We now plan to return on our way back to England from the Dordogne for a further overnight stay.

Excellent location and free public car park next door. Basic decor in room but comfortable bed. Enjoyable dinner but breakfast unexciting. Welcoming staff.

Staff are amazing. Service is top notch. Rooms are aged. Furniture is old and looks unclean. Repair works made the morning very noisy, no notice served. Staff are truly awesome. Location is great too.

The public areas are well kept and very clean the check in was good and the lady on reception was excellent and very helpful and friendly. We were only staying for one night on route to another location The room had seen better days and the breakfast buffet was a real disappointment. In country that has so many great Boulangers the quality of the morning goods was really poor mass produced part baked products the hot food was just awful. There are so many local places doing quality this was a huge disappointment and why we didn’t take breakfast and sadly whilst running our stay did mean us leaving without a good memory of the hotel

Everything was great except we sent laundry out. It disappeared. They apologized and said they would “look after us” and said it would be next morning before we left (we were biking). It didn’t come until the afternoon and we had toured the town. We were then told that because we were still there we had not been affected so we would not be “looked after”. Well if that’s how it works, if we cancel a room they charge us! But if they fill the room then they “had not been affected”, would we then not have to pay for the room! Very poor attitude or customer service. All else was great at the hotel

Nice, quiet hotel, view on the Loire river. Delicious breakfast buffet, efficient and courteous staff. A 5-10mn walk along the river to the castle and downtown with shops, bars, and restaurants. Easy public parking across the hotel, free at night and on Sunday.

Our first stay here & it most certainly is an impressive building when compared to dozens of other Mercure hotels that we have experienced throughout Europe.

Modern and comfortable from the lobby and reception to the bar, to the restaurant. The food was very good, staff frieny and -unusually in France- reliable and in-working-order A/C. They also gave me a reference to a car/driver service (Art Service) and their recommendation ended being top notch. All around a neat hot, within a short walk of the center of Blois.

Centrally located, the Mercure is a functional if slightly depressing choice. The rooms have all the charm of a Travelodge, with paper cups in both bedroom and bathroom, rather than mugs and water glasses. The communal areas have clearly been given a bit of a refurb in recent years, but they do little to elicit the charm one might hope from a hotel in the Loire Valley. Staff are friendly and helpful, and are clearly the high point of a stay here. Just don’t even think about trying to use the pool / sauna / jacuzzi in swim shorts; they’re prohibited.

Very friendly staff, excellent location The bar area is very open & bright, food options in the bar were excellent value. Clean, quiet room, not huge but big enough. We had hoped to wander around the old town to find a place for dinner, but the weather did not cooperate- we had an excellent meal in the dining room, reasonable wine list. All in all a great stopover
