Pleasant staff and quiet room

Cost just as much to park as the hotel cost

Classy, established hotel with character! Clean, quiet & walkable to many dining options.

Reno’s being done and no restaurants, all floors were dirty and elevator taken over by contractors. Rude contractors. Their first aid station n office was right across the hall from us. Worst stay ever. Should have been told about this before staying.

Good staff, room was good but extensive renovations were going on which we were not aware of at the time of booking. Also no air circulation in the room but a fan was provided.

This hotel is a little gem in the heart of Old Strathcona. We loved our stay and will definitely return.

The hotel is in a great location on Whyte Ave, right in the middle of the action. Our room was clean and comfortable, with mini fridge and coffee maker. The hotel in general is a bit rundown and tired looking, however it is undergoing some renovation work which will bring it back to it’s glory days.

İt is too old, and poorly taken care of

This is our "go to" hotel in Edmonton. Staff are great, and the property has a comfy, relaxed atmosphere.

I really did like this property, but there was no notice about the renovations happening. Due to the renovations my allergies were awful and I could barely breathe most of my stay. I felt great when I was away from the building. My room was also downgraded after my payment, due to the renovations as well. They did make up for that by covering the cost of my parking which I really appreciated. One more small detail what that the A/C was not running in the building due to the time of year, although it was very hot in my room. They provided a fan for us to pick up at the front desk to help with that issue.

Good things first. Staff seemed nice and competent. The hotel is doing some needed renovations and the area is one of the best in Edmonton on lively Whyte Avenue. The hotel is dated. Just one elevator serving all guests and the gym while in a large room isn’t being taken care of well. Some machines not getting power. Weight stand had just three dumbbells in it. Had a decent stay though and hope renovations extend to the gym etc.

Great location. The property is undergoing renovation so it was a disheveled in some areas but the staff are nice. This is my second time staying here and due to the convenient location and easy parking i likely will stay again.

Loud partying on my floor that was not addressed.
