The hotel lobby and restaurant have a charming view (water front), but the room facilities feels renovation needed, such as only one clothes hook inside the bathroom was loosened, water flowed allover after shower, toilet roll was hard to reached (80cm away)…etc. Overall, the price-performance ratio is not high enough

Loved the location on the fiord. Amazing view! Drinks and food were good and plentiful. Service was good; personnel was friendly and helpful. Could use updates in the bathrooms and a better hot water system.

We arrived at breakfast at 9.30 - after recommending from the receptionist (earlier would be a hassle due to many people). But all basic food were missing (bread, eggs, cheese, croissants, fruit, etc) it was very difficult to get anything and the waiters were busy cleaning up.

The restaurant surprised us with their meals! The quality of meals was excellent! The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly! Strongly recommend staying.

Amazing views. Hotel staff was super helpful amd courteous. Rooms are clean but a little dated and bathroom was a not in the best condition but the views and convenience more then make up for that. Highly recommend.

Very unique location just steps away from the fjord. Majestic views! Easily walkable to restaurants,etc. We rented kayaks from the hotel so really convenient.

The fjord view is spectacular. No fridge in the room. All else was great.

Brakanes is a lovely, genteel hotel with beautiful views of the fjords. I’d have given it the toprating but for the very limited and expensive dinner menu and the fact that you had to pay extra for the hot tub.

Seemed run down from outside but once we saw the view from the balcony, the facilities and the room itself we wished we stayed longer. Very comfortable beds, spacious room and beautiful beach and outdoor facilities

View from the hotel was amazing but unfortunately I had to hold my breath everytime I was in my room. Thank god it was only a one night stay.

Outstanding view from room. Excellent dinner. Only negative was the breakfast. Not a lot of choices. No espresso. Was the worst breakfast spread we have seen in our month long holiday.

Nice hotel with lovely location, beautiful view. Lovely garden with outdoor sitting areas, in addition to bathing possibilities in the fjord. Nice room, with balcony where one could enjoy the lovely view, but really missed having a water kettle for tea/coffee, as a cup of coffee on the balcony in the morning would have been great. Also missed regular toiletries (just having a soap dispenser on the wall in the shower doesn't do it). But overall nice hotel.

Very friendly staff and beautiful views. Room was very basic. Breakfast was a disappointment probably due to Coach crowd. Dinner was very good

View, View, View. What a view of this hotel. Unfortunately, I did not get a room with view. But I do spend time on the restaurant, and rest place that can enjoy the wonderful view. However, the hotel itself is kind of out-dated. need some work on the room. Staff are helpful, breakfast is good.
