There was a very loud 'beach party' event, which happens every Tuesday. The noise reached rooms, and went on until very late. The event means no room service is available, and the only dining option was to join a loud party. This would be fine if wanting this type of experience, but while travelling for business, it was not ok. I feel like the hotel should warn guests at booking that this is happening so they can decide if it's what they're looking for. Staff are rarely stationed at reception, and you have to wait for someone to spot you to come and help. There were no irons in the rooms, and there were none available to use from housekeeping when needed - again, challenging as a business traveller.

Great experience at this hotel, after staying here we seeked out other Novotels on our road trip. Great beds, clean room and cheerful service. a

Very conventienly located next to the Golf course. Hotel is getting a bit old and rooms are not that large but overall good value for money. Good buffet breakfast

An attractively designed hotel in a lovely setting. Pleasant efficient staff. Secure parking for €10. Easy to walk out from the hotel to the lagoon and the small centre. Well worth more than an overnight stop.

This was a nice hotel, probably the best in this area and has been recently refurbished. It’s not overly luxurious but contemporary and well furnished and designed. The food was very good although a limited choice, but that’s not a bad thing when what is on offer is well cooked. It was a shame that there wasn’t a separate bar to have a drink. The small bar area was part of the dining restaurant. The breakfast was good overall although coffee from is not what you would expect from a four-star French hotel. Generally the breakfast choice was good.

Fabulous staff who really helped out when we arrived on a late flight and needed some food and drink

Quiet location away from the crowded places - but close enough by car (2km from downtown, max 5 to beach). The hotel facilities are nice, restaurant is quiet good and hotel staff is always super helpful and polite. Pool is not big but it’s ok. Just missed a fitness center.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Novone last La Granders Motte which is in a pleasant location next to a golf course. We also liked walking (25 min or so) to the sandy beach each day. La Grande Motter is a bit of a french secret, we loved it. The hotel room was fine, just not perfect as we wanted 3 proper beds but all rooms have a large double and a double sofa bed as in most Novotels. The mattress was a bit thin, also AC did not work very well in the considerable heat. The wi-fi was intermittent. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and they do a good value fixed price lunch. The negatives above are far outweighed by the excellent feel of the place, the building is a Modernist gem in a wonderful location. Very nice pool too. Would stay again.

Not the same standard as other Novotels. Does not respect the room criteria asked for and bed and pillows are not comfortable. Had to wait til 4pm to get access to a room that was different to the one on the description.

Staff couldn't of been more helpful. Allowed us to check in even though we were early. The room and whole hotel was spotless and could not fault it

My family went to the pool and I ask the receptionist to get some towel for the pool. When we did the check out they charge me 2 euros for each towel that we used in the pool. No good services. How you can get charge for towels. The night receptionist was nice he give us milk and cereal for my kids.

Great family hotel next to golf course and so quiet with good service all round

Pluses. Good clean rooms, air conditioning works, breakfast buffet excellent, staff delightful and helpful, secure parking (extra) , short walk to golf course, club storage, good cocktails Better next time; pool is small so supervision and discipline need improvement
