Elevator broke. 5 flights of stairs to go to our room. Staff good except for the night shift who was not friendly nor helpful and can sound discriminatory.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Location is great, very close to Rialto Bridge and just a short walk to the water bus with only 1 set of stairs to carry your luggage over, you can’t go wrong with this location.

The hotel was excellent in terms of location. It’s a fairly old hotel but very clean. The bed and pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was fine on the first day, a good selection of food. However, in my opinion, the bacon and eggs could have been cooked a little more. Eggs were watery and the bacon did not look cooked, needless to say, I skipped both selections. There was no change to any of the selections thereafter which was disappointing. We also felt “watched” by the employees which was uncomfortable. Otherwise, our stay was good. I would recommend the hotel in terms of location and cleanliness but lacks in other areas.

They had breakfast which makes it convenient saving time and money. It would be nice to have a better spread. location is convenient and quite well connected via water busses at Rialto and San Marco.

Ideal location, short walk over one bridge from Rialto Vaporetto stop. Staff extremely polite and helpful. A little dated but typically Venetian so still very charming. Comfortable beds and good choice for breakfast. Overall we were very happy with our 2 nights stay.

The hotel ia very well located in the city. It's close to the city's center and to the vaporeto stops. Not far from the train station either. The stuff were welcoming and kind.

Excellent property close to all the local attractions and restaurants. Our room was very clean and comfortable for our family of 4. The ceiling in the shower was a little low, especially if you’re tall but the water pressure was great and hot water was very good. Beds a little firm although we still had a comfortable sleep. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast each morning with a good variety of food. Highly recommended and we’d definitely stay again if visiting Venice.

A lovely little hotel that is close to St Marks Square. Breakfast was ok and air conditioning was very welcome in the extreme heat.

We enjoyed our stay at the Gorizia very much. It is located almost equidistant between the Grand Canal/Rialto bridge and Piazza San Marco. That made it a short walk in either direction. The rooms were spare but very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Directly across the street was the Gaudi Museum. The hotel staf were very friendly and helpful.

So enjoyed our stay here. The staff were great and everything was kept clean. The breakfast was nice and a bit more varied options than other places we’ve stayed.

This Hotel is at the center of a great location in Venice. We were within walking distance to the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Basilica. The hotel staff was very courteous and very helpful. We had to check out early to leave to the airport and were not able to have breakfast so they made my daughter and I breakfast bags to go. Thank you to the staff of Hotel Gorizia A La Valigia. The room was also very clean and spacious.
