The cleaness in the room is poor, and the maintenance of the hotel structure has a lot of opportunities.

It was adjacent to the building where the training was scheduled to happen. Very convenient. Shopping malls nearby.

No one speaks English here. Room flooded after I took a shower and the food is disgusting!

disappointed at a hotel that offers a pool which is 3' deep for a child and no service, no bar, no waiter, no cleanness for pool or room - very sad service - the front desk employees were very attentive and pleasant. The housekeeping service was very poor, wifi offered, air conditioning in room was good and bed comfortable . Location not so

It was a great hotel. I thought the city was just okay. The area the hotel is in isn't great. But everything about the hotel itself was awesome inside.

No, if you insist in having comments, less likely to get any response.

Our stay was just okay. There is no room service after 11 pm. And the neighborhood seems a bit dangerous and there are not many places open in the vicinity... so if you're hungry after 11 pm you are out of luck. Our room was not serviced three of the four days we were there. Even after we called and requested fresh towels, nobody came... they finally came after we called again. They did not restock the minibar. We had finished the waters in our first two days. On the third day when we called for water, it was after 11 pm and they said we would have to walk to a pharmacy to get a water. I do not know a single hotel that does not have bottled water in reserve for hotel guests.

Internet worked but only occassionally. This was extremely frustrating. Room service was AGAIN changing management and so it was closed. Few good restaurant options nearby--staying in the Savassi area is a much better option for in walking distance dining options then here at the LifeCenter.
The room was clean except for the mold on the walls in the bathroom which provided for that "classic smell". Water leaked from the bathroom into the bedroom area and badly warped the floor tiles.
AC was good, rest of room clean. Breakfast was middle of the road. If you ignore what I wrote and choose to book make sure that you can cancel. We are leaving as soon as we can find an acceptable alternative and we are looking now.

Very good for a two night business stay. Rooms recently redone. Kitchen was recently taken over by new owner and they are struggling a little.

I enjoyed the Mercure - it was the last hotel I had on a 2 week stay for the world cup. It was by far the best quality (also the most expensive however). If only it were a little closer to the action - but it is a safe (in my opinion) 10 minute walk to the bars of central Savassi. I enjoyed Belo Horizonte.

Comfortable enough for non-fussy business traveler, all staff speak some/good English, including reasonable-rate room service which is very useful since I did not see restaurants nearby to walk to.There is always one or two TV channels in English among the 50+cable channels. Wooden floor felt a bit dusty (or maybe it's just the floor material) so I wore slippers, but clean otherwise, good bed/pillows/towels.
