Loved everything about this place

It is a nice location and like other reviews said it would be. Older but clean and neat. Pool was nice and it had outside seating areas. We were given all the information needed on restaurants when arriving and the arrival was easy. TV is old school but OK for our one night stay.

I love the cozy feeling. Its our home away from home. My kids loved the proximity to the river.

It was very good for the money we paid.

This was our second stay in this property, and it was an amazing experience. Ours was corner room and it was perfect with a kind of our personal space in the front. Only small concern was the very weak internet due to the location of the room. I would recommend placing wifi extender.

Rooms are very clean, spacious and quiet. Grounds are beautiful, with farm animals, places to sit and enjoy the scenery.

The cottage was cozy and inviting. A true hidden treasure! We will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Stay at Lazy J Ranch Motel – Highly Recommend! I recently stayed at Lazy J Ranch Motel, and it was an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, making us feel right at home. One of the biggest highlights for us was how pet-friendly this place is. It’s not always easy to find a clean, comfortable motel that also welcomes pets, but Lazy J Ranch exceeded expectations. The rooms were spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and equipped with both a refrigerator and microwave, which made our stay even more convenient. The location is unbeatable—just minutes from the entrance to Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park. After a long day of exploring the stunning scenery, it was wonderful to come back to such a peaceful and cozy spot. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly place to stay near Sequoia, I highly recommend Lazy J Ranch Motel. We will definitely be back!

Allowed us to arrive 1 hour early. Nice King bed. Would be a great place in hot summer with pool and river.

clean room, friendly staff, fun (and well decorated?) environment. only drawback is the heater's noise, like jet plane taking off 😂 but they do offer extra blankets being clean and easily accessible on an overhead shelf, so we still survived on a late January night without the heat on. hey, it's a great deal for its price.

Loved my stay at this super cute ranch motel. Bed was a bit dated and fairly creaky, but otherwise the room was perfect for my needs as a base camp for visiting Sequoia NP. Already planning to stay here again sometime.

Beautiful surroundings, from the hummingbirds, the sunrise walk to the river and the friendly staff. I loved everything there!

We were given the wrong accommodations. We ordered a king bed and given (2) beds? The beds were very uncomfortable to sleep on. There was a spider crawling on the wall by the window. The heating was a potable heater? Really? The shower got really hot then immediately turn ice cold?
