Great

Decent, quiet and clean. I like the totally light blocking shades. It's an older inn and could use a bit of a face lift. But the bed was very comfortable. That's a plus 😁

Overall good. No place to put wet hand towels. No shampoo or body wash in dispensers. No kleenex, not all USB plugs worked. Breakfast lacking in variety. Place was clean, staff was pleasant.

It was a great experience

Staff was very friendly and helpful. A delightful interaction. Room was typical hotel room, clean with a fragrant smell that was strong and floral like. Wasn't noticeable after a few minutes. Typical free breakfast. Comfortable bed.

First I was given a room with non-working TV. Phone in room is nonoperational. Given another room but had to leave early morning because of loud humming sound

This property was not clean and definitely not safe for a family.

My partner and I booked a 4-night stay, but due to storm conditions, we arrived just after midnight for check-in. The experience that followed was unacceptable. Upon arrival, the night staff was asleep & seemed disoriented. After getting our room key, we found that it didn’t work, requiring us to return to the front desk. Instead of proper assistance, we received vague hand gestures on how to operate the outdated door lock system. When we finally managed to enter, we were shocked to find the room already occupied - the guest’s belongings were inside. Thankfully, no one was present, but the situation raised serious security concerns. Had someone been inside, the scenario could have been far worse. Given that we were in Alabama, where gun ownership is common, the thought of an accidental confrontation was unsettling. After returning to the front desk, we were given the correct room, but it was outdated, unclean & poorly maintained. The shower drain was filthy, making it an uncomfortable experience; and the beds felt itchy. By then, we had already decided to check out the next morning and booked a nearby hotel instead. Before leaving, we reported everything to the front desk. The staff apologized and promised to follow up regarding a potential refund after speaking with the owner. However, we never received a call, email, or refund—just another disappointment to end an already awful stay. Serious improvements are needed in security, cleanliness & customer service.

The staff were very friendly and I enjoyed an expeditious and altogether pleasant check-in. The rooms are very comfortable. I'm coming back to this property next time I'm in Scottshoro.

Not our first time here, and for sure won't be our last. Perfect everytime.

Rooms small but above average clean; breakfast was tidy; service very helpful. only downside was room need some repairs... our door handle had to held up when swiping the key and the shower water won't switch completely to from bath to shower. Overall I'd take these minor problems for price and cleanliness.
