The hotel rooms needs an upgrade.

My recent stay at this hotel presented a mixed bag of experiences. While there were notable good things particularly concerning the staff, certain aspects of the room's cleanliness and the property's overall condition could've been better. Upon checking into my room, I noticed that the sheets appeared a little dirty. This prompted me to thoroughly check underneath for bedbugs. Although I didn't find any insects, I found some weird stains, idk blood stains or other peculiar marks on the bedding. If i was with my wife we would've found another room or hotel. The property condition and the facilities seemed to be in need of a significant upgrade, suggesting that the building could benefit from modernization. I haveen't seen elevator buttons that old since the 90s. On a positive note, the staff was truly excellent. Every single team member I encountered was nice, kind, and incredibly helpful. Their professionalism and warm demeanor were a definite highlight of my visit. Additionally, the surrounding area around the building was remarkably clean, which contributed positively to the overall impression of the location.

My room wasn’t ready at check-in. When I crawled in bed the pillow case was filthy. The carpets needs to be cleaned and the smell of marijuana was overwhelming throughout my room and the 3rd floor. Water was supposed to be in the room 2 bottles, 0. The ice machine didn’t work on 3rd or 4th floor.

The overall experience was great. The staff was great the amenities were excellent.

I love that you can walk out the back door and walk through nice landscaping to the Capitol Brew House for drinks and dinner. I don’t like their overpriced breakfast.

Our room did not have a tv remote and it took someone to bring it to our room in 15 minutes. A maid knocked at our door at 9:45am with our check out time was 12pm. My wife was sleeping at the time and there was no "Do Not Disturb" sign. Our closet door would not close. The pillows were very small and not comfortable. Other than that everything was excellent.

Convenient to where I was working, friendly front desk staff, clean. Only complaint is that the microwave cord didn't reach the outlet, so I had to move it to a lower shelf to use it.

The hotel was perfect will definitely stay here again.

Staff were very friendly! Would have loved to upgrade to a suite but maybe next stay I’ll go ahead and book it ahead with of time. Blessed this property was pet friendly. The pool was nice as well.

Liked the staff and breakfast omelet area. My room appeared cleaned, but I found dry dog or cat kibble in a corner of the room so I dont know how truly clean it was.

This was a ref average place to stay, the gluten free breakfast accommodations are really unacceptable

Clean and easy stay

The property was nice. I stayed for two nights. My only issues were that the outlet in the bathroom didn’t work, (I flipped the GFCI with no result) and Ihousekeeping never came to my room.

I stay here pretty often, but my last two stays were pretty underwhelming. A manager still hasn’t followed up from my previous day where I didn’t have hot water, and this time my digital key didn’t work and the dryer in the laundry room charged me three times and still didn’t work.

Work done on ceiling beside elevator made first floor somewhat unsightly. The confusing breakfast plan was annoying to deal with…do I get $10 off? Or is it free? I bought two and only got one…weird. Free breakfast or not??

Had a wonderful stay; every staff member was very polite, friendly, and respectful. It was very close to many stores and restaurants. The room was very clean, and I was not bothered by housekeeping, but they cleaned my room while I was away. Thank you for making my first trip to Richmond a great time.
