Convenient location Basel trams make it easy to get around

Disappointing stay for a Radisson. Tiny, cramped room with barely enough room between bed and wall to open my suitcase. Very dimly lit with no overhead ceiling light and no light on one side of the bed. Room hadn’t been cleaned properly with papers and water bottle left in the desk. Very basic furnishings and interior that felt like a budget hotel. Staff at reception and restaurant were very good and meal there was okay.

Very friendly staff

I am currently staying at this hotel, but my experience has been very disappointing. The room is not very clean, and the front desk staff are not very friendly. In addition, I had to pay $30 per night for parking, but the parking gate would not open even after I inserted the paid ticket. This caused a lot of inconvenience, as I had to wait for the staff to come and assist us, which took quite a long time.

It's a nice hotel to stay at Basel, quiet and convenient with good breakfast. We highly recommend it to other travelers.

We had a very nice sleep at the hotel, it was central enough for us to walk around the old town. We did not have a good experience with some of the restaurant staff, one morning, completely empty restaurant we were ignored by a waitress as she cleared a table. Even when I asked for two cappuccino and two croissants, she reply yes and continued to clean the table. Odd

Central location. Free local transport with the Basel card and the tram just opposite. The hotel is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, local museums and attractions. Room spacious and clean with usual amenities. Good variety at breakfast. Will stay there again if back in Basel.

Everything was great, it has a unique style for a chain, very comfortable. Loved that the windows properly opened. Free apples and candy a nice touch! Only thing that was a bit annoying is that the pool and sauna was closed on Sundays.

Disappointed with Bathroom Comfort My wife and I stayed for 7 days in a Superior Room at the Radisson Blu Basel. While the room itself is fine, the bathroom is extremely small and uncomfortable — barely functional for a proper shower. It’s not what we expected from a Radisson Blu, especially considering the price we paid and our status as Radisson Rewards members. The cramped bathroom setup has made our stay far less pleasant than it should be. We hope the hotel takes this kind of feedback seriously, because it’s hard to relax when basic comfort is compromised. We will not come back to this Radisson in Basel, although we are Radisson Rewards members.

Very central hotel. The dining options are limited but there are numerous restaurants nearby. The hotel is slightly dated but perfectly comfortable. My standard room had the world’s smallest bathroom- think airplane toilet. The parking is limited and you may have trouble parking as larger SUVs tend to take up more than one space. There is however a parking garage nearby.

I have stayed at this in hotel many times but this time I was upgraded which was nice especially when your here in business and you want a little more room to relax, I would recommend Raddison Blu for future visits.

Great hotel to stay with family, rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The property says it has laundry facilities, but it does not. You can have your clothes sent out to be laundered but it will take 1-2 days.

Good location to town and station

Air Conditioner fan did not work, No other rooms available, so they gave us free breakfast, and a fan, luckily it was not extremely hot at the time.

Nice hotel , great location, only bad points fridge didn’t work and air con was poor didn’t cool the room down.
