I don't like staff and security's attitude. Their lack of communication skill waste guest's time.

This resort condo was so relaxing and clean. Room was super big. Got the Ohana Suite and just loved it The only thing I wish is that because we arrived early we wish that we could have used the pool facilities while waiting for our room.

Everything was great. The pool was nice. The condo was big and spacious. The only thing that was annoying was one of the employees in the check in office wouldn’t give us pool towel on our last day. My flight didn’t leave until 10pm. So we left our luggage at the resort. We were going to enjoy the pool until we were leaving for the airport. But the employee said no we can’t give you towels. This is something we don’t do. Everything was great until that. Kind of gave me a bad taste in my mouth on our way out.

What's not to like. Large room with all amenities, beautiful grounds with palm trees and flowers and ocean veiws.2nd time staying here and will hopefully stay again sometime in future!

I visited the Kona Coast resort many years ago and I really enjoyed it and I came back again this time and I really enjoyed it again it's a great place to stay.

The property is listed as a "resort," the property is not even close to a resort. A resort is a self-contained destination with extensive amenities and recreational activities.This "resort" does not offer a comprehensive vacation experience, the only dining options was a bar with very little food to offer, no entertainment, and no leisure activities within the property. I don't know where the disconnct is between hotels.com and Kona Coast Resort but this isn't a resort, it's an apartment complex

My family stayed 6 days in an upper condo-like unit which included a furnished kitchen washer/dryer. AC was included in my package. At check in, we were invited to take advantage of a 90 minute properly tour to earn gifted, which we declined without issue. The morning after our first night we saw a few cockroaches, but after cleaned after ourselves (washing dishes, cleaned the kitchen area, and taking out all trash) there were no issues with insects. Keeping windows open and ceiling fans moving while we were away adventuring helped lessen any odors from humidity. Overview we had a great stay. The property is well maintained. Of coarse there are a few minor cosmetic things that could be repaired, but they seemed to address those periodically.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The room had a kitchen with everything needed to prepare meals when you don’t want to dine out. The property is beautiful and very well kept. We loved our stay!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. We were overwhelmed with the size of the suite along wth 2 bathrooms. I think it would be a great spot for several families on at least a weeklong stay. Enjoyed the Sunset Terrace and the friendly staff, especially Dove

Amazing. 7 nights for that price. It’s not an apartment. It’s not a mini studio. You get a 1 floor HOUSE. Gorgeous.

Clean and large property. The a/c requires a key to turn on and charge you for it. They try to get you do a time share tour. Not a lot of food places close, but is a grocery store. Middle location from volcano national park and stargazing mountain. Easy to get to airport. Nice large patio.

The property, though slightly worn, is meticulously maintained. The rooms are generously sized and equipped with all essential amenities. The room service is swift, and the staff is exceptionally courteous. The location is both convenient and picturesque. Overall, it was a rather delightful experience.

Locate in convenient location, easy access to highway. Staffs are very nice and kind. However, found lots of cockroaches in the kitchen :-( we couldn’t leave any food out, everything must be on the fridge. We also have to wash all plates and pots before and after used due to roaches problem. Otherwise, I would come back again.

Great customer service. Caleb made our stay a very nice experience. We got the room we asked for. It was great. Thank you so much for everything and providing outstanding service young man. Definitely we will be staying there in the future. Great place, very quiet and clean. Kudos to the staff.

I expected a little more from the staff activity dept. I tried calling for about two weeks before our trip to ask about activities and things to do. I left many voicemails. Texted and called guest services about connecting with no success. I think if we would have had more activities planned our trip would not have been as boring as it was. Guest service staff could have just walked around the corner to Activities and asked why they weren’t answering their phone. They never looked very busy the times I saw them. I was just very disappointed.
