Rooms not too soundproof

Good location. We used taxis to meet up with HOHO locations our 2 days there. Disappointed I couldn’t get tickets to Sagria Familial and Park Guell

Surprisingly when we arrived at the hotel we weren’t even greeted by the two receptionists. Not even a good evening let alone a smile or a welcome phrase. Even though I did check online for which I had a confirmation email the receptionist kept insisting that I did not do so and wouldn’t even take a second to look at the email confirmation which I was trying to show him. Hence the check in took very long which we really weren’t very pleased to go through because it was almost midnight and we were travelling with kids. However the breakfast was good and the staff down there was nice and polite. Another thing which we didn’t expect was the construction that was going on at the hotel’s first floor where the breakfast room was located. The location of the hotel was good having a lot of dining options around. Wouldn’t praise the cleaning at all, the bathroom needs some deep cleaning. Overall I would not go back there if ever again in Barcelona.

Great hotel and so pleased with our find. Really great location near to metro stations and approx 15 mins walk down to the marina and 20ish mins to La Rambla. All staff on reception were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast delicious with lots of choice. Room was spotlessly clean and beds made up during our stay. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going to Barcelona.

Parallel staff are great, very helpful and courteous. The rooms are small but comfortable and clean, nice bathroom! The beds were comfortable. We had a 3 twin bed room and it was perfect for us.

Walkable to many sites plus metro nearby which was easy to use. Enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would return. No english channels on tv was sad. So many places to eat nearby. Safe and quiet.

I m not much a comment person but this hotel location, room and customer service was perfect! You can go all the main attractions from there and very local breakfasts spots we fell in love 5 min walk to the hotel!

Hotel is great and is located on a great location, some noise at night due to some celebrations near by, as well some noice from the adjacent rooms, I guess the insulation was not great but overall I will top recommend

Good location. Short distance from Port of Barcelona. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Would stay there again.

Asked the receptionist about having my sister check into a room on the same floor as me, and they were able to accommodate. I would stay here again when visiting Barcelona as a solo traveler. The space was just right for one person and in a good location. Very walkable to notable sights like La Boqueria.

Great hotel, great safe neighborhood, only a few stops to La rambla, Sagrada familia, and the beach. Staff was great. Definitely recommend

Not bad for the price. Bidets, if you’re into that. Made bed but did not change sheets daily - could see some crumbs I’d left. Great tapas places a little ways up the hill, frequented by locals. Don’t buy breakfast, you can get a croissant and coffee in a nearby cafe for around 3-4 euros.

Always a pleasure to be a guest at Hotel Parallel. Great service and everything just right. Great wholesome breakfast. I will return :-)
