Everything was nice except THE AC VERY SLOW NO AIRFLOW when the temperature was 93 degrees! Everything else is fine, close to everything, shops, transportation, restaurants, pharmacy.

What a great hotel. Perfect location for getting anywhere in Barcelona. 25 step to the Metro stop. Staff was very helpful and friendly, answered all questions and provided helpful suggestions. Excellent choice to start our vacation!

Street was a bit noisy. Maybe better windows to soundproof the street noise would help.

We stayed here for a week and found it minimally satisfactory. Pros about the hotel: very convenient location, right next to an L2 metro stop and within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the Gothic quarter; and a decent breakfast bar, including gluten-free bread, croissants and muffins upon request - worth the price if you buy it ahead of time for your full stay rather than one day at a time. Cons: the neighborhood is a bit seedy and down-in-the heels. The “superior” room: Liked that it had plenty of space, a comfortable king bed, blackout shades, combination safe, iron & ironing board, stocked refrigerator and TV that received several English-language channels (though not internet-enabled). Didn’t like that there was a lot of noise at all hours of day and night, both from the street and the hallways (this is a family-friendly hotel with LOTS of small children); no coffee pot, only a hot pot for tea and instant coffee – and after we drank the tea, the tea bags were not replaced; cleaning was hit-or-miss – they regularly forgot to replace soap, towels, toilet paper as necessary. Some disgusting prior guest had left chewing gum stuck to the drawer of the nightstand, and a full day after I alerted both management and cleaning staff to the problem, it was still there, so I had to remove it myself. Bathroom was clean and modern, but had low water pressure and no moisturizer. Overall, we would not stay here again.

One of the few places in Europe with actual working air conditioning. Staff was great lots of great restaurants nearby.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the sea. The front desk, housekeeping , doorman and servants at the cafeteria are extremely professional. We had a great experience during our stay here.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff here. Front desk, easy check in. Housekeeping was very good too, with room checks done during the day. Needed a few shirts washed and ironed which was done quickly ( less than 24hours) and delivered by a lovely staff member. Well cared for building in a good location where walking is easy for the most part.

Great location. 10 min walk to touristy area. Close to local restaurants. Clean and safe hotel. Breakfast is nice.

On arrival we were allocated the last available standard room which had no window. I am a little claustrophobic and despite there being a pretend window with a light behind it in the room we had to move. There were no superior rooms left either so we upgraded to a Privilege room which was superb. The change was made easily and the room was lovely with views across the city. So make sure to check when booking that you have a window if you want one! Bed and pillows were comfortable. Staff were all very happy to help with any query with a smile. Breakfast was varied and fantastic - highly recommend. Parking is under the hotel and quite tight to get in and out of but very convenient. Cocktail bar on the roof next to the pool is open until 8pm and has lovely views across the city. Location is 10 minute walk to Las Ramblas and the Port of Barcelona. Very convenient location.

Decently located to La Rambla. The hotel itself was very comfortable. It has an excellent staff. Every person we came into contact with was great! The room was nicely appointed. Every thing we needed! If I had any negatives it would be that the hallways are very noisy. The doors close loudly and you can hear every conversation people have walking down the hall. I’m not sure anything can be done about that. It didn’t really bother our sleep.

Enjoyed very much staying here. Corner room let in plenty of light and fresh air. Spacious room and bathroom.

Great location, clean rooms, quiet and helpful front desk staff! Would definitely stay again.
