The staff was courteous and answered all our questions. The location is great, just across the canal and a quiet neighborhood. Approximately 10 minute walk to the nearest shop or restaurant. Our room was small, but very comfy for two adults. Not much of a window view. It overlooked other apartments, so our window and curtains were always closed. With that said, we kept finding mosquitos in the room (about 5-6). The elevator is rather small and dated. Fits 2 adults and 2 luggages. Use of stairs was easy, but steps were creaky due to the age of building. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Hotel Augustyn was an ideal place to stay during our trip to Bruges. The room was extremely comfortable, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. I would absolutely stay here again.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was professional and courteous. Front desk is not available 24/7, only during select hours. Street parking available, but expensive during the day. Parking garage accessible, 7 min walk. Very close to city center, shops and restaurants. No refrigerator in the room. Overall very nice.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Augustyn. The lady behind reception was lovely and couldn’t do enough to help. I proposed to my girlfriend whilst staying here, and they decorated the room for us , which really added to our time here. We will be sure to come back and would recommend this hotel to anyone!

We were unexpectedly surprised with how wonderful this hotel was. Luca at the front desk could not have been more friendly or helpful. We had the family room which was so large and perfect for our needs. Our friends had the regular room which was also great. It was our favorite hotel of our entire stay and I would 100000% recommend you book without question.

If Bruges is in the middle of a heat wave, I would suggest you pass on this hotel because there’s no air conditioning in the rooms. This is not unusual in northern or northwestern Europe. They do provide a fan, but that can only do so much when the room is already hot. Cold showers will be a must. You do have to check in before 8 PM. They were very accommodating in our late arrival. Other than that, the hotel is great.

We really enjoyed our family room, which was spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The bathroom was also very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is very well located, close to the attractions but also in a quiet, beautiful spot. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also nice. We would grandly stay here again.

Lovely hotel. A short walk from the Belfort tower area but felt far enough to be out of the hustle and bustle. Tea, coffee and water facilities were refreshed everyday and decor was clean and modern. Could have been improved with better pillows and bigger bath towels.
