The staff were welcoming and helpful. We had a room with a view of the lake, that was really nice, especially to see the sunset reflected in the lake. We enjoyed the beer garden, it was particularly hot so the shade and cold drinks were welcome. A bit of a niggle that we had to pay for the car parking, but the breakfast was excellent.

great hotel right at Hennesee lake, we had a room with balcony and lake view and it was a relaxing stay, in a quiet area. clean room, clean nicely decorated bathroom. breakfast is diverse and plentiful, there is a lot of choice for any taste. Sauna was great, quiet during the day (it might get busy in the evening). We also rented bikes from the hotel and biked the 16 km around the lake. it's very close to Hennedam, so there are nice options to walk and enjoy a relaxing trip. also easy to reach the city by car and enjoy the restaurants in the area. reception staff is very friendly and helpful with anything. we had a great relaxing stay.

The food was limited when we arrived in the evening at 2100. As well, the Internet wasn’t working. Will say, however, the breakfast was very good.

Excellent overnight stay in lovely location by the side of the Hennesee. Chance for a short walk on the lakeside before dinner in the lovely restaurant. Staff friendly. And all spoke good english!

Typical of German service really, but we ordered drinks in the early afternoon which took amost 45 minutes to be brought to us. Then at the evening meal we were seated and our order wasn't taken again for 45 minutes. In the morning at breakfast the following day we were told to take a seat and someone would come over, nobody came at all, we had to get our own cutlery from the hosting point and we were not offered drinks. A real shame for a hotel with a lot to offer in a beautiful setting by the lake. The room was lovely and the concierge service at the front desk were excellent.

The hotel was very clean with great facilities and the staff were superb. in particular the breakfast buffet was amazing and our waitress Theresa really took the time to make us feel welcome! My son and I used the hotel as a base for Winterberg to go skiing and it was perfect.

I paid for this hotel as a gift for friends on their honeymoon. They said it was a great place with high quality food and silver service. They had a lovely stay and it was a perfect end to a wonderful day.

The big highlight of staying at this hotel is its location: the views from the restaurant terrace, Biergarten and our room too (no. 202) looked out over the densely-wooded hills and crystal-clear lake (the Hennesee). We swam in the lake every day (a one minute walk down a path from the Biergarten takes you to the shore) and the hotel was super-comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace or in the conservatory was excellent and the one night we ate in the Biergarten the food was excellent again. The local beer, Warsteiner is also delicious. Highly recommended.

WOW, What an amazing Hotel!! The Staff were super friendly, the grounds, room, dining areas and surrounds were spectacular. Apart from the exploding shoe horn, (Warning, they quite literally explode into sharp plastic shards) this hotel cannot be faulted.

A nice place to relax, walking around the lake is amazing. Breakfast buffet is plenty of choices.

Das Hotel hat wohl mal bessere Zeiten gesehen. Der Zustand der Einrichtung lässt sehr zu Wünschen übrig. Das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht.

Net hotel maar geen hoogvlieger. Eten is goed maar de kaart is vrij klein. De badkamer is netjes maar je moet in een bad stappen om te douchen. En hierdoor is het vrij glad. De prijs is behoorlijk hoog voor wat je krijgt. Zou het wel aanbevelen zeker voor de omgeving,maar zou niet terug komen.

Die Lage direkt am See ist überragend. Preis Leistung ist sehr gut. Nur das Parken für Hotel Gäste ist zu teuer.

Die Gardine war teilweise ausgehängt. Es lagen noch Socken vom vorherigen Gast im Schrank. Die Dusche ist sehr beengt. Schwieriger Einstieg.

Das Hotel liegt gut, schön ruhig. Frühstück war perfekt. Leckere Speisen im Restaurant. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wünsche wurden sofort erledigt.
