Loads of selection at Breakfast and a very clean and well presented room

Booked a Classic Room but was upgraded to a superior room, however the room had no charm. Two single beds in a 1970 style that were uncomfortable. Breakfast was only average. Due to over booking on the last day we move to the sister hotel and could not fault it. Nice room and a better breakfast.

We had a great week half board in the wonderful AX Victoria hotel. Both breakfast and dinner buffets were 5* with great quality and variety of food available. The staff were so friendly and facilities excellent including the gym, two swimming pools and sauna. We loved the bar, cocktails at happy hour were reasonably priced and of great quality. We loved the hotel's traditional style & will definitely be back :)

Good location for exploring Malta

AX The Victoria Hotel in Malta We had a brilliant and enjoyable week in Malta. We were welcomed at check in by MIRAZ. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony, thankyou. MIRAZ explained about how breakfast worked, timings for the gym and swimming pool and other eating options in the hotel and adjoining hotel, the Palace Hotel. We used the gym and indoor swimming pool a number of times. All clean and tidy, towels available for your use. We purchased an “I see malta pass” which included various activities around Malta. Forgot the ladies name but she was very helpful in the sister hotel, Palace Hotel, thanks to her. The breakfast offering was enough to satisfy most people. The staff each day were very attentive and friendly. The room cleaning service team were very good. All staff always smiling and offering to help. We had an issue with our safe on our day of check out and ISMITA help resolve this very quickly. Walkable location to the ferries, but a steep hill on your way back to the hotel, so bear this in mind. Overall a pleasant stay and we would recommend to other users .

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of food to choose from.I think it’s the best place I have stayed so far! I highly recommend it!

Lovely hotel , great facilities especially the indoor pool and sauna. Even got a free cocktail as a birthday treat from the hotel manager.

All the staff were welcoming, warm and attentive, from reception both night and day, the porters, cleaners and servers in the restaurants. The breakfast had lots of choices from cooked to continental and generous opening times. Good location too.

Great stay! Room was very nice, clean and spacious with comfortable beds and great shower. Reception ladies were very friendly and helpful, good breakfast included in rate. Enjoyed use of indoor pool and steam room after day exploring Valletta. Short walk to Sliema shops and waterfront. Would definitely come back.

We had a fabulous stay. The hotel was fabulous, room was great (we had a sauna on the balcony!). The staff were so helpful and kind and funny! Breakfast was delicious and a huge selection.Cannot wait to stay again.

Spotless large room with separate large shower,hotel is 10 minutes walk from Sliema promenade . Staff are great , excellent check in and had a meal in the hotel pub , fish and chips which was excellent . There is 2 swimming pools apparently one indoors and one on the rooftop which i missed because of my accident. Downside was i only was there for 2 of my 5 night stay as i was hospitalised after a fall . The hotel was great in that they packed all my luggage and delivered it to the hospital the next day for free but lost one of my tablet chargers.

Such a high standard. So much choice for breakfast and a great view at the pool.

The room was spotless, we had an amazing view from the 8th floor, and we made much use of the indoor pool. Also the breakfast was great. I liked Sliema, it's a great base for exploring Malta.

It's so easy to be critical on these reviews, but quite frankly I could not fault this place, everyone was super nice and helpful, any problem was dealt with very promptly. A well run efficient hotel. It's extremely clean, a sweet pleasant floral scent throughout the hotel was noticable. And the rooms are worthy of a 5*+. I have stayed at the nearby sister hotel several times and they never fail to impress me, believe me I would be critical if I needed to. But this hotel will be getting my repeat custom again and again.. first class hotel.
