The hotel is quite charming, but my main issue was its overly familiar atmosphere. I chose this place primarily for the pool, yet it was nearly useless to me because only six sunbeds were available, and large families often occupied them. The environment was quite noisy due to children, which was understandable, but I had to wait until my last day to enjoy some relaxing hours there.
The rooms are lovely, with a comfortable bed, though I was a bit taken aback by the amenities policy—my housekeeper tossed my soap after just one use.
During check-out, I forgot to ask for my ID, which was required to use the pool towel, and I'm still waiting for it.
Regarding breakfast, on the first weekend day, I was told service ran from 7 to 11 am. I didn't double-check, but on weekdays it's only until 10 am. This was disappointing, especially since I arrived 15 minutes before closing, and the food quality and quantity didn’t meet expectations. There wasn't any fruit, and when I asked if they would bring more, they said no. Also, the eggs and chilaquiles were like the leftovers—quite a letdown.
