The Orto De Medici is a great hotel. The property is spotless, the staff are exceptionally helpful and the breakfast is terrific. The location is perfect - a short walk to the Duomo, virtually around the corner from San Marco, etc and yet it is just outside the main tourist scrum.

The room was ok. Bathroom mirror was dirty when we checked in. Beds are a little hard for my liking and the memory foam pillows gave me headaches. The front desk staff were nice.

Wonderful room, clean and modern. The staff is excellent and especially the breakfast staff.

Great location for touring Florence. Clean. Excellent breakfast! Staff booked our cabs and recommended restaurants that were very good. We can't wait to return.

The staff were absolutely wonderful, and the breakfast buffet was a delightful surprise! Alazne at the front desk went above and beyond for us, including in making personalized recommendations for places to visit (based on our interests), and for places to eat (each of which were fantastic). If you visit, I hope you have the pleasure of being greeted by Alazne! I cannot wait to visit beautiful Florence and the Orto De Medici again.

Great location, breakfast was fabulous with both sweet and savory items, room was spacious and very clean. I would highly recommend and stay here again if traveling back to Florence.

The hotel is very cozy and welcoming, excellent location, easily walkable to Florence’s main attraction. Good breakfast. Our garden room level very spacious with a walk in closet, bathroom with bidet, heated towel racks, and a large counter. Staff friendly and always attentive.

Todo el staff fueron súper amables y profesionales desde el check in hasta el check out! El desayuno delicioso y muy completo, la ubicación perfecta. El estado de las habitaciones impecables, la relación calidad-precio es inmejorable! El poder guardar las maletas para aprovechar el día es una gran ventaja. Los chicos de la recepción tuvieron un lindo detalle por nuestra luna de miel. Volvería 10 veces más y por muchas más noches, solo que la próxima vez reservaría una habitación un poco más grande. 20 de 10!!!! GRACIAS

They cleaned the room everyday. Good breakfast. Spacious for a family of four. Good location. It was a very pleasant stay and we will stay here again!

The hotel ambience was nice. The room was spacious and comfortable. The service staff was warm and helpful. However, the breakfast variety was limited and repeated across the 3 days i stayed.

Great place to stay. Close to the historical centre of Florence. Staff was friendly and the amenities were good.
