Very good location

The only real way to review this is to explain what this hotel is for. You will use this hotel to sleep only because it's literally the only thing it offers. No amenities, pool, entertainment or anything else. As a place to sleep, the rooms are spacious, well kept and cleaned and some provide a balcony. The only problem is that the walls are paper thin, so you'll get real familiar with your neighbors real quick. The hotel is clearly located in a residential area, surrounded by apartments and local businesses. It looks rough but we never encountered any issues with the locals. The location is advantageous due to it being closed to several city buses that you can use to efficiently move to the big attractions around Rome. The staff was courteous when we encountered them but as I stated, since you don't get much outside a free breakfast with plenty of proteins ( getting an Egg in Italy is extremely hard.. ) we never really spoke to them nor them to us. English is widely used and recognized for the hotel.

The hotel was beautiful. It was a little further away from all main attractions than I thought. Front desk staff was wonderful in getting us transportation, waiters at restaurant were fantastic, food for dinner was really good, overall nice hotel.

Reception very indifferent and rude no hello nothing Room by elevator and noise didn’t let us sleep At dinner one person working at restaurant and bar, took so long to get acknowledged and food not good very frustrating Nothing grand about this hotel, very small and understaffed , they all looked like not pleased to work. Breakfast only some sweet and terrible looking egg and dried bacon Should not be 4 star its an old motel Stay away and don’t ruin your vacation

The hotel is very clean and the dining staff is wonderful. The property is about a mile and a half north of Vatican City so if you don’t mind a brisk walk, it isn’t too bad. The trip back though is all up hill. The breakfast was excellent, and the dinners were well prepared.

When reading reviews it said residential area..it definitely is, THAT!!! Nothing close by except a grocery store, and since the rooms do not have cooking facilities not really convenient. Hotel does not have enough staff therefore not enough staff to support the restaurant. Rooms are not as clean as reviews mentioned. Couldn't even swim in the pool it was so dirty, you would get a sliver in your foot around the pool decking. Icing on the cake, our shower flooded the bathroom and into the room, and had no staff to clean it up or help. Therefore, we spent an hour mopping up water with towels. The crazy thing when we called for help and told them what happened we were told they are aware of the problem... absolutely crazy. The hotel is way over price for the location, renovations that have been done are very poorly done. So be warned.
