It was not the best of Marriott experiences

Hotel is centrally located, close to cruise pier, bus station and walking distance to beach and restaurants.

Rooms need total revamp. Tired and stained walls and carpets. Heartless hotel.

The room was clean and ideal for a weekend stay. It had all the essential amenities, including a comfortable bed, hairdryer, and air conditioning, which made the stay very pleasant. Breakfast was a highlight, with a great menu offering a wide selection of both hot and cold options, as well as fresh pastries.

Very nice place, clean, and staff very good

Room and location were great. Very close to the port and a nice mall. Had to carry suitcases up a flight of stairs to get in; elevator from ground to lobby was not obvious and then wasnt working. Staff probably would have helped if we'd asked; they were very nice. Not a lot of variety in the restaurant for dinner but lots of good restaurants nearby on the boardwalk.

Everybody I was in contact with were very courteous and nice, the place is incredibly clean if maybe a little dated. Restaurant window seat are spectacular as it’s on the 23rd floor 2 floors below the swimming pool and sun deck area. Food was great service also. Proximity to beach and cruise port excellent would I stay here again? 100%

The hotel is older and run down! The old elevator outside to get your bags into the hotel is also old. Otherwise 15 steps to get your bags to the lobby! Breakfast was cold both mornings and good luck with the coffee! Location is close to cruise port!

Nice hotel but quite noisy and a little tired-looking in places

The evening service for dinner always started well but by the end staff disappeared and it was difficult to finish our meal properly. More attention required. The layout of the bathroom is precarious and could cause an accident. The views from the room and restaurant were fantastic. The lift from reception to the ground floor is really a trade lift and not suitable for passengers.

Stayed couple nights before a cruise. Excellent location to cruise port, beaches, restaurants. Comfortable, clean, modern room. Friendly welcoming staff. Would stay here again.. no issues

Air conditioning wasn’t good

Staff was very accommodating!

First of all, the room was NOT Ocean View. It was just "Partially Sea View". To see the ocean I need to stay at the corner of the room or need to go out to a narrow balcony. So the room was absolutely not correct. And the bathroom was uncomfortable at all. It was so small and the Water Closet is very close to the wall. I am just 180cm tall but I was not able to sit in the water closet. My knees were pushing against the wall and feeling painful. I talked with the front desk clerk but no solution for the issues. I had to stay in Partially Sea View Room and I got knee pain in two days in this room. Since the 1980s I have been staying numerous times in Marriott Hotels around the in all six continents of the world and never been i a Marriott like this one. Uncomfortable bathroom and non-friendly front desk clerk. No more Marriott in the Canary Islands.

Great hotel! Just got back from AC Tower, I’ve been upgraded to a balcony room ( as a member ) without even asking, thank you. Fantastic facilities, food, building, service, and location. 5 minutes to a buzzing beach with everything on your doorstep. Lovely breakfast and staff. Really enjoyed it. Would love to return.

Overall a nice place. Good stuff: The beach was only a 4 minute walk, also short walks to bus, grocery store, taxi stand, and many restaurants/stores. Annoying: we had to sit sideways on the toilet due to close proximity to the wall, and we are average height. A little strange for us (Americans): no washcloths nor top sheet on the bed (only a comfortor)
