Air conditioning not working properly

The front desk receptionists were very helpful. Not only did they help us check in quickly, they also gave us very good advice on sight seeing locations and food. Anytime I go to Winnipeg, this will be the place I want to stay. It is not an expensive place but it does have a slightly old, beautiful and charming ambience.

Friendly staff, clean comfortable room, very good breakfast options. Close to Health Science Centre, I would definitely recommend and stay again.

The lobby was disappointing. A poor couch and two chairs that didn't match was the first impression that was uninviting. The breakfast was average. No eggs or fruit was available. No waffle iron. There were mini pancakes but no decaf coffee. Would not recommend it to friends.

Few minutes walk from The Forks and Museums. Clean and quiet. Parking fee ($12) additional cost. But for the location and price, we are satisfied.

The break fast is not good

Rooms decent, breakfast was poor, they didn’t even have scrambled eggs which is pretty much basic every where you go. If you want an affordable place to stay it’s ok but if you expect a decent breakfast you won’t get that. One strange thing is at checkin the person at the desk asked if it was ok to copy my id and credit card. I’ve never heard that before and to add to that my accommodation was already fully paid online, this transaction was just for the security deposit. I objected of course because that was really weird.

This is our go to hotel in Winnipeg. Rooms are spacious and clean. Hot breakfast is very nice.

Lots of options for breakfast however felt unsafe that the public could come in off the street and help themselves to food uninvited

We had a lovely stay overall, and it’s a solid choice if you’re traveling on a budget. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming, which made a big difference. That said, the hallways were quite hot, and we did have an unsettling experience with someone attempting to enter our room. Despite that, the staff handled things professionally and made us feel as comfortable as possible.
