We arrived at the hotel to find out that the air conditioning had been turned off as it was the last week of the season although when we complained we were offered a fan. The bedroom was clean but the bathroom was tired and looked dirty. There was a good variety of food although the hot food was lukewarm and considering we were all inclusive we had to pay for water!! Overall we had a good holiday but we wouldnt rate the hotel 4 star.

Staff were excellent and friendly, good entertainment. Nice and relaxing around the pool. Food was good but mainly pork options. Shower head was broken in our room and the pool was green one day (which they sorted by the next day), AC could have been better. Overall I would come back and recommend, just potential improvements to be made

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Although the reception area looks lovely, the room is extremely basic. The floor was not properly cleaned and had bits of dirt over it. Cleaning staff came every day but did not clean our towels once. Tap water is not drinkable and bottled water is not included in the all inclusive package. One large bottle is included on entry, but was never replaced. Bar staff are lovely however the beer was weak (watered down maybe), and the wine/cocktails were very cheap. Food was actually quite nice, with a wide range of styles. Staff were quite unhelpful, especially the booking staff for the external restaurants taverna and Maris suites. Pool is always very busy, with uncomfortable sunbeds and no pool towels provided. Beach is rocky and busy, but nicer than the pool, however it is 6 euros a day for a bed. When we booked the hotel it was advertised as adults only, however they were many children there. Some couples got turned away due to overbooking and were placed in the even worse Village hotel. Tables in the restaurant were never properly set, with a lack of spoons being the common theme. Gym was average, with a few worn down pieces of equipment. The gym owner was lovely and very helpful. Tennis courts were worn down and not even set up properly when we arrived to play. Air conditioning was temperamental, working well some days and then boiling others. Shower was not fixed to the wall properly and easily fell off.

Located about 7km from Kos town, the hotel is part of a larger complex that also includes a family complex and luxury hotel. The accommodation was standard and clean, although the rooms are a bit basic, for example only an old 14in portable TV. Overall the place is due for an update. The pool is nice, and the beach is not far away, but you need to pay 3 euro per bed (beach only, the poolside ones are free), which is a bargain compared to what I’ve paid in other European countries. There are a few adds on you need to think about, such as renting a safety box as there are no safes in the room. The bar stocks the usual all-inclusive drinks, but certain drinks are only available if you have the higher bracket all inclusion. The food is nice, and a decent, if repetitive, range is provided, but we tended to go into Kos Town for dinner. The staff were generally very friendly, although one or two receptionist were not that helpful and at times had ‘I can’t be bothered attitude’, for example when checking out I asked if they could book a taxi to the port, I was told they can but it could come in 10 minutes or 1 hour so I might be better off taking the bus – as I couldn’t wait an hour I asked if they could call and check to which I got the same reply and a shoulder shrug, so decided to take the bus just to be safe.

This is a very nice hotel, particularly pleasant out of season, as it was quite quiet and there were plenty of facilities available. The hotel is very clean and the reception staff are charming. The meals are buffet style and for meat eaters, there is a good choice of food. Apart from the salads and cheese, the hotel did not really cater for vegetarians and the spaghetti and tomato sauce was uninspiring. There was virtually no information about what to do on the island, but reception did tell us that we could get a local bus into town. Kos itself is a lovely island and relatively easy to get around, but you need to stay here a Psalidi or Kos Town to get the local buses. The boat trips are great, but tended to finish the middle of October. There is enough to do for a week, whether it be walking, staying on the beach, sightseeing or taking the boat tours. Sadly Kos Town museum is closed, as is the Casa Romana.

The Hotel was very clean, including the restaurant, the pool and the pool area. The island is very windy so many people choose to stay in the pool area to sunbathe... so it can get a bit crowded, but it was nice. The quality and variety of food was really good as well for an all inclusive. Apparently we had free sun beds at the nearby beach but the receptionists could not really explain where these was so after a few times we gave up and used others for which we had to pay for...which is fine as it is only 5 euros per 2 for an umbrella and 2 sun beds but still...

This hotel was definitely not 4star. Not sure how they got that rating as the reviewer must be a friend giving good feedback. I work for an editorial column on travel experience and I will definitely be writing this up in my column that Kos has more to offer than this hotel. Look out for the review in TNT magazine!
