Excellent location. You can walk to so much within 20 minutes in all directions. Conditions were very good and breakfast was good.

This is the best location in Madrid. Everything is close and the hotel is clean, efficient and the staff is excellent. There is always someone at the desk and they’re all very friendly. The price is reasonable, and the breakfast is excellent as well.

The room was perhaps in the small side but it had a balcony with chairs and location could not have been better. Reception and staff wonderful. Very clean room.

Great stay at hotel Moderno! Delicious breakfast with variety of foods. Very helpful employees, particularly at the front desk. My luggage was lost by the airline and they did not hesitate to contact the airport in my name to solve the situation. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

2 nights in Madrid. Travelling as part of a longer trip with 2 mid sized the cases, the room was too small to open them at the same time. We had to store them closed on top of each other. I appreciate we didn't book a room with a terrace but we got a back room so no view at all. The photos of the rooms are deceptive. Breakfast was nice with plenty of options on offer. Location is great for being amongst the biz. Be aware taxis cant get to the hotel so drop you to walk the rest of the way.

This property is located in the perfect location. It’s close to everything, it’s on a busier street but you don’t hear the noise. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were very friendly. I would stay at Hotel Moderno again and again! I would highly recommend!!

Great location, next to Plaza del Sol, within walking distance to Plaza Mayor, shopping areas, museums and historic areas. Right next to the Metro, and Renfe stations. Very comfortable and quiet, despite being in a very busy area. Great breakfast!

Perfect location right in the middle of the city next to gran via. Not crazy expensive and cozy hotel.

It’s all about location and you are smack dab in the middle of Madrid. However, this is an old hotel and there was a lot of noise from within (ie: moving furniture, hammering, banging noises, conversations from other rooms, etc.) Our room was quite small but the bed and pillows were comfortable. The room felt cramped. Ok for a short stay only. Breakfast buffet was excellent. The air in the hallways felt musty and the carpeting made it difficult for rolling your luggage. The lighting is dim. Needs brighter lighting. No fridge in the room and that is a huge necessity nowadays. So if you have medication that needs cold storage or anything else for that matter then it is a problem. Personnel were all very charming. You can’t beat the location. If they can fix the things I mentioned it would have a better rating.

Great location for our first time in Madrid, close to a lot of attractions and the metro. Would recommend.
