I recently tried to stay at this hotel and was surprised to learn that they are under new management. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Despite having paid for my booking online, I was not allowed to check in because they insisted on payment in person only even though their website says otherwise. The staff tried to get me to pay again and cancel my booking on the spot, which was confusing and frustrating since I never received access to the room I had already paid for.
I was told to contact the booking service to cancel, but now I’m being told I won’t get a refund. This whole situation was handled poorly and caused me a lot of inconvenience. I hope the new management can improve their processes and communication to avoid issues like this in the future.
