Very friendly and clean. I definitely recommend to others and will be going back in the future.

Breakfast Ok , Meal we had at the Pub and Grill Terrible , Winter Special Menu , Dumplings Rock Hard Yorkshire Pudding more Like a Crispy Pancake , No Moisture in the Chicken , Don't Expect it to be Fresh Fresh but Think when they said Winter Special it was Cooked Last Year and then Defrosted to Order. Staff Really Good. Gym Good Housekeeping must be Understaffed, you could write your Name in the Dust on the Skirting Boards in Our Room , Deep Clean Required Throughout the Hotel. I do not Blame the Housekeeping Staff themselves, this Will be Driven from the Top

The room was modern and clean, breakfast was nice. The staff absolutely made this trip for us though. They actively went above and beyond at all times, from celebrating our son's birthday with us, making his stay extra special, and helping find batteries for his toy. They were unbelievably friendly, accomodating and welcoming. This includes the maintenance team, and not only front of house, being overwhelmingly welcoming and friendly.

Food menu uninspired & overpriced. Comfy bed, but can hear your neighbours

Spinning classes every morning really early on. Heavy base music thumping through the floor. No sockets or charge points near bedside table. Rm 116. Really disappointing stay as other village hotels have been alot better quality

The room I was put in was next to the staff only room. All night there was banging from the door being open/closed. Room was very tidy and services were good

Clean, lots of facilities. Nice restaurant & bar. Very nice full health club & pool access. Nice full breakfast available. From Hotels.com breakfast was included. On check- in, Hotel said, ‘not’ … until I showed them booking confirmation!

Booked a double room and was told they had none and put in a twin room which I would not have booked

Friendly welcoming staff, clean comfortable room.

Tired hotel, badged as Newcastle but around 7 miles outside. Disappointing that food closed at 9.30 with no room service available. No options to eat within walking distance. Having stayed at 10 other village hotels this is the worst by far and in need of a makeover.

Hotel and facilities good but I message late last night because of the disturbance coming from above and I didn’t get a response which resulted in very little sleep. Reception staff excellent. No phone in the bedroom to call down about the disturbance and didn’t want to bring children down at that time
