The property and staff were very good and friendly!

The problems were the air conditioning and noise at night. Our room stayed around 77 degrees and wouldn’t really go below that even when we adjusted the thermostat. Friend said their room was too cold. The other problem was the noise at night. Every night kids would be running up and down the hallway screaming at the top of their lungs. This was happening well past midnight. Door slamming all night was bad too. The rooms need soundproofing badly. The resort should reserve all top floors for adult only guests and bottom floors for kids.

This is my first review ever, and I’m only writing it because I don’t want others to ruin their vacation like we did. We stayed at Royal Solaris Cancun from June 14–21, 2025, and the experience was terrible. The service was awful everywhere—buffet, restaurants, pool snack bar, and room service. Staff seemed overwhelmed and indifferent. Even when we tipped, service didn’t improve. One hostess was especially rude, tried to seat us at a dirty table, and ignored us when we tried to speak to her. The food was bland, repetitive, and low quality. If something was actually good, it would run out fast and never come back. Drinks were served in dirty glasses—some with lipstick stains. Cleanliness and quality control were clearly lacking. We also booked excursions through the hotel. The van drivers were rude and drove recklessly, putting us and others at risk. We spent so much money expecting a relaxing trip, but this hotel completely ruined our vacation. I’ll never come back, and I strongly suggest others avoid it too. It’s not worth your time or money.

The workers very friendly

The property is outdated, from the pool to the rooms to the towels! Everything! The restroom is small and dingy looking, had a leaking toilet. We booked and ocean view, but there was no balcony, the view was from just a squared window (not worth it). We checked out after the first night; earlier than our 3 nights because we couldn’t handle how old the room felt. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until they remodel. The drinks and buffet are not good either. I can’t speak for restaurants because we didn’t get to go. We asked for a refund and Expedia nor Royal Solaris agreed, even after showing them pictures of condition of room. Mind blown!

I booked a trip here for me my mom and four year old after an extensive search for something eod Erik for us all. We loved the kids club for my 4 year old. We trusted Emi to watch over her and she also was very attentive and communicated with me via WhatsApp when my child wanted to eat or was thirsty. I checked on my daughter a few times just to put on sunscreen for her since they also have in the kids club a water area that is amazing. They do activities and movies for the kids as well. Cannot recommend enough and excited to go back!

Great place to take

Customer service was excellent. Angel at Las Fuentes Restaurant was amazing and would go out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our dinner.

If I could put 0 stars I would. I booked a one week vacation with my husband and 2 babies, (2 under 2) at this “all inclusive” thinking we would relax and be able to eat while we were there during the week. The food was awful, very limited options and the few that were available were either overcooked, tasteless or raw. My babies usually eat a lot of broccoli, cauliflower, all the vegetables were served hard, so they wouldn’t eat any. The shower rug in our bathroom had black mold on it. The concierge offered for us to attend a 90 minute presentation which ended up being 2+hours, we had to hear 4 different salesman give us their speech of trying to convince us to buy into their timeshare program. We were told by the concierge that the “cenotes” tour was good for babies, so we went, and had to pay a taxi back to the hotel, as there was no flushing toilets and it smelled awful with all that horse poop laying around everywhere! The activities were only to drive ATVs, ride horses, zip lining, etc, so my biggest fit was them lying to us about the “cenotes tour”, knowing it was not meant for babies. I would’ve appreciated the honesty, instead of them wasting our time and money. I usually stay at the Grand Sirenis hotel in Cancun, and have always enjoyed my stay, so I was really hoping to enjoy this one as well, but it was just a headache all in all. We ended up going out to eat every meal, so much for relaxation, DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! 😒

Friendly staff clean pools good beach food so so it was better good shows. I didn’t appreciate the constant persuasion to buy their vacation plans when they were told we’re not interested. They’re relentless otherwise the resort is great and economical

Everything was good about the proper

You can tell the proooedt is old when you look up.. wet ceiling, drips, cracks. You can also tell renovations had been done. It was a great stay overall. Excursions were a pretty penny. Also optional. Beach is beautiful, maybe becaus of our timing waves were too intense to enjoy with little ones.

We were very satisfy of the food in the restaurant. Server Jovani was always great. Room was clean everyday. Housekeeper Luis Elena was cleaning our room 1419. She was very creative and kept our room on time clean. Make sure management recognize those two hotel associates.

The staff was ver accommodating. The hotel is terrible. Food was cold every day. The sink was clogged the tv had to be replaced. They argued with us about bottles of water. They told they didn’t have any but the housekeepers had plenty.

I was here in may for 5 days my husband and I liked it very much sure the hotel is a bit old but it will not affect your stay the stuff very kind and friendly I wanted to say a special thank you for my massage therapist Lulu and my husbands would be Karen and also the best Omelett maker at the morning buffet I don’t know the name of the restaurant anymore ☺️ Edgar and at the pool bar Lorenzo sure every one was nice. I recommend it to everyone that I know I hope i can stay there again for my next vacation
