Thelma hotel was somewhat dated but still pretty decent and with kind of services... Very good for families and the prices are good... But Expedia or the hotel charged us double the price and still I am trying to figured out how to solve the problem....

The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast included is a nice feature--the pool and sauna are well maintained and the historic photo art through the hotel present snapshots of the hotel's Olympic history. That said, the building is getting a bit old and the facade could do with a bit of repair as concrete powder collects on the balconies.

No access for wheel chair, broken balcony tiles. No ventilation or table fans. Room keys never work reliably. Kids fell down stumbling the broken tiles. Bathroom leaking water into the living room. Free parking was available. SPA swimming pool was good.

Good experience, friendly staff, convenient location. You should be more informed what is going on in close to the hotel, it was us who found out that there is a ice rink on the other side of the main road, close to the stadium. Reception had no idea about it.

Run down hotel. Got a very cold room and when we told the receptionist about it she said they would put a heater in the room while we we're out. Came back and no heater in the room and still cold. When we went to reception there was new staff there that swapped our room to a warmer one but it can't have been used for a while cause it was dusty. Nice swimming pool and sauna! No good vegan options for breakfast.

The clean level is ok but we can see the dust in the lavabo and the toilet lid. And the attitude of one of the waiter in their restaurant is arrogance, he gave me the face when he was clearing the table. The indoor basketball hall is in-existence showing from their introduction of pictures. And the playground for the kids is rebuilding so only a small amount of toys and place for the children. Last, our room is located in the third floor, so we can only take the lift to the second floor and, walk through a long corridor and then lift our heavy luggage to the room. This is not that convenient for us. By the way, positive message is the breakfast is good and the pancake is delicious.

Large rooms, nice breakfast, excellend (and inexpensive) dining in on the 5th floor in the evening. The hotel is HUGE. Entire Pirita area is an excellent place for nature walks on the beach and in the pine forest (and nearby river valley).

The hotel is combined with a casino but you did not notice it since you cannot hear any noise from it, thumbs up for that The rooms are bright and spacious, as well as clean The restaurant in the hotel, you must go there the à la carte is sublime The beds were comfy The area surrounding the hotel is a bit run down that's the old down side

The receptionists give an average service. They answer if only you ask. Otherwise they don’t give enough information about the facility and services available. The corridor to the A side of the rooms smells really awful. Carpets are so dirty and full of stains. The rooms are cleaned okay. The terrace was in a very bad condition and dirty. The SPA receptionist was very arrogant and unwelcoming. The breakfast was average but the view from the restaurant was great.

My wife and 2 young kids were on the 3rd floor. I later understood why the front desk said take the elevator to the 2nd floor. We had to care our luggage up a flight of stairs. Then when we got to the room it was extremely hot. No A/C so we cracked the doors to the room. The next morning when we were checking out the thermostat in the room said 34 Celsius/ 93 Fahrenheit. The pool that was advertised was out of order. The breakfast was ok but less than average compared to other hotels in Europe. I usually do not do reviews but this place was really bad.

I really enjoyed my stay, the swimming pool, the breakfast and the strategic location of the hotel by the sea side , is a good place to relax and feel the nature and the transport route to the city centre and airport is excellent.

Since I was last there the hotel has been bought by another company and they have given the place a bit of a refurb. It is great to see the pictures on the wall from when the hotel was the main base for the sailing at the Olympics in 1980. The room, including the bathroom, are spacious, clean and tidy, with good wi-fi. There is plenty of variety at breakfast time and its always being topped up. The swimming pool, steam room, sauna and gym are an added bonus to the hotel. You are only a 10 minute bus ride out of the centre of town and that ride has great views of the Tallinn coast line.

Our stay at this hotel was a bit mixed. The sea views were lovely,I had a nice swim in the pool and the breakfast was great but the rooms we were given were on the 3rd floor which involving a long walk along a corridor followed by a climb up a metal spiral staircase -- not easy when carrying heavy suitcases ! We did ask for better rooms but were told the hotel was fully booked. The room was basic,no fridge or kettle, but a comfortable bed and good shower.
