From the minute, I checked in there were issues, including someone suspiciously working behind the counter on the credit card machine. (I’m still disputing a double charge for my three day stay!) one of the vanity lights continually flickered, & the carpeting, tile grout and door jams/everything was in desperate need of a deep cleaning or renovation. It’s the first hotel I’ve ever stayed at where a Scammer called in directly to my room trying to get my personal information and saying they were the front desk. There were workers lurking in the hallways and on cell phones as you walked down corridors and the same front desk guy working on the credit card machine suspiciously working with two other men in one of the rooms. I’m not sure what exactly was going on there, but it was all very suspicious. I’ve also never had to dispute a double charge on a hotel room until now. I even mentioned the pending charge on my credit card when I checked out and was basically dismissed and told that the charge would fall off. Well, it didn’t and my bill is due and is charging me twice. I will probably never stay at a Best Western again.
