Liked room. Spacious and clean. Bar area very loud. Had function on and no space for quiet resident drinks.

The hotel looks a bit tired generally and our room had a strange smell as though someone had been smoking in it and used a lot of air freshner to try and disguise it.

We had a lovely stay, the hotel is in an excellent location, all the staff we encountered were friendly and the facilities were outstanding. Room was well equipped and bed really comfy.

Welcoming staff and clean rooms but let down by poor soundproofing between rooms and into corridors. Pool and Gym facilities are good though only open at 6.30am and pool is very small. Very convenient location for the city centre but little disappointed to have to pay for parking onto of hotel stay.

Very hard uncomfortable bed. Buttons in lifts not working, couldn’t access floor 4 in one lift and floor 5 in the other.

Staff absolutely exceptional, their customer service is second to none. A bit tired looking in places but overall totally ok and clean. Toddlers are only allowed to the pool at certain times and there might be a wait depending on their pool capacity. Heating in the rooms is on full blast, we switched it off and had it off for 3 days we stayed, opened the window to get some air in but still had to use the fan overnight. Mind, probably better than being in a freezing room but slightly better room temperature control would be useful. If you are travelling with a toddler and you want to use the tv for a movie night or just everybody watching something together, take your laptop with an hdmi slot. Our 2 phones did not connect to the tv nor did the hdmi and converter work with the tablet.
