Overall a conveniently located hotel in the heart of the city. The “pool” is more of a large bathtub than a pool really but that did not bother us. The restaurant on site has limited options and room service is non existent. You are paying for the location although our room was nice and we had a large terrace. Housekeeping forgot about cleaning the terrace and we found prior guest underwear outside which was a bit strange

Close to shopping and rail. Beer pub next door is bonus. Walking distance to Main old town strip

A little bit of a mix up on my reservation, however, Pedro went above and beyond to help sort it out. The hotel is amazing!

This is my second stay at this hotel and I continue to love the quality of the service and rooms. I selected a larger room and it was so nice to hang out in. The location of the hotel is perfect - right off Camino trail. The breakfast very good and had lots to offer.

The reception was very nice and very helpful for us (we don’t speak Portuguese). Clean hotel and delicious breakfast.

Fantastic hotel built in the 1510 mansion. Giant stone block walls and beautiful exotic wood floors. It is a fantastic hotel.

The staff so kind and informative. Great location by train station & funicular. Restaurant& bar just on the first floor. Breakfast good. I liked how the rooms were authenticly staged.

The team at the front desk area were wonderful. So friendly and professional. The building still looks great but the beds and pillows are old, squeaky and soft. Br

Very friendly staff, clean room, and relatively comfortable bed (for a European hotel). The views from the room were really nice, and location was great. The off-site parking was a little challenging.
