Friendly staff and historic building

Quest in Wellington on the corner of Hunter was an excellent choice... quiet, well presented and very good value for money. Amenities were very good for the price and comfort. Great experience.

Broken tiles in bathroom. No radio/alarm clock. Ironing board damaged.

Great staff at front desk. Super helpful and accommodating.

It was perfectly positioned for public transport from the airport. Two supermarkets within a couple of minutes walking and plenty of good food places within a 5 minute walk. The property was very clean and had a very large fridge/freezer plus everything you needed to cook for yourself. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.

Friendly Staff

The property was very well-situated and convenient for shopping, restaurants and activities. It was a good sized apartment and in the art-deco style, but the decor was tired and in need of refreshing. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the oven didn't work and the kitchen equipment would benefit from looking at. We enjoyed our stay, nonetheless and would stay there again.

Very convenient central location

Staff were lovely, rooms were clean. Unfortunately this is not in a safe location, as a woman staying by herself. I cannot recommend this hotel, as much as the staff are trying their best.

Everything was great, friendly, helpful staff, location was great and room and surroundings was perfect.

This property is reasonably well located, staff were friendly and helpful. The building inside and has charm, but unfortunately no air conditioning (receptionist did source a fan for me). Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Large bathroom / shower. Bedroom area layout isn’t ideal (lounge chair and small dining not positioned so you can see the TV), but was sufficient for a short stay. A full length mirror would be a good addition

This is my 5th stay at Quest Wgtn. The location is amazing, the place cannot be beat for that. I will say next time I will request to stay on a lower floor, as this time I was on the 8th floor and the furniture desperately needed sanding and re-varnishing. I still love this place, its safe, clean, and has the best location in town.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we checked into our room we realized that there was no air conditioner. It is the summer in New Zealand so we had to open the three available windows that we had. This hotel is in the center of the city so we heard lots of noises from the streets all night. The garbage being collected, the crosswalk beeps, traffic, people talking, and etc. In addition to this, there was a washer and dryer in the restroom (one reason we had choosen this hotel). We washed a load of clothes, put that load in the dryer provided and started the second load washing, only to find out that the dryer door would not stay closed. We had to bring a chair from the room into the bathroom and propped the iron board against the dryer in order to keep the dryer door closed without having to stand there and hold it closed. The dryer was so loud that it could be heard all the way down the hallway.

Excellent stay. Comfy room, position very central

Lovely old 1930's building, very well placed in Wellington CBD for access to everything. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Decor is a bit dated and fairly basic, but in keeping with the age/style of the building. Excellent shower, bed comfortable, if a little firm for us. Quiet hotel, some street noise on occasion, but it's central city and that's to be expected. Check in/out was easy and the receptionists are great. Very good apartment at a very reasonable price. Recommend.
