Great location within walking distance to Old Town and most landmarks. The building and the interior need some refreshment, but the room was clean, equipped with all the necessary things. The shower too small for my big husband, but they both survived😃. Great breakfast and extremely nice and helpful service make Windthorst Hotel a place worth coming back!

It was convenient to the sights we were interested in visiting. The breakfast was good. When checking in, there was no one to help us. We had to search for the reception area (on fourth floor). The room was very small.

The staff were very helpful and friendly! I felt "at home". The location of this hotel is perfect for visiting the Christmas Markets located in Munster and very near the main train station.

Stayed for two nights in Muenster for a trip to Willingen. This place was very conveniently located for the train station. It was very reasonably priced and the rooms were a nice size for a budget priced hotel. Clean and tidy and just what I expected.

The property is located just a few hundred meters from the Hauptbahnhof. There's also many attractions well within walking distance. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. I had a double to myself just because I like the extra space. The bathroom is roomy which is a nice plus. There was a small balcony with a table and 2 seats which was a nice place to unwind. I didn't take advantage of breakfast at the hotel but it is available for a fee. The bed was a double. If you are unfamiliar with beds in Germany this is 2 singles pushed together. This wasn't an issue, just something to be aware of. Parking, there is a city parking lot just a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel. But where possible I'd suggest using the local buses and trains. One other thing, the rooms are on each floor in 3 or 4 room groups behind a glass door. It's well laid out and quiet. I was there 10 days and think I only heard or saw someone twice. I'll be sure to stay here again! Special thanks to Gerde (forgive me if my spelling is wrong). He was the gentleman running the desk who was always ready to help or give a suggestion on local attractions, eating or transportation. Thank you one and all!

Location is great! Cleanliness could be improved however it’s alright, we didn’t go for the breakfast but I would recommend to do so, it looked very nice :) the hotel is old and beds are not the best (hard) but for this price the location is all worth it

helpful staff,actually only one staff person (receptionist)I saw, I don't think anyone else was there ..And the property is very close to the main station...And the market starts just beside that...Thus location is excellent...Room was small but okay for me...

A littl noisey at times but to be expected in a city centre

the reception is on 4th floor, noisy, old room! it is totally different from what i paid for HK$11xx/night. it is not hotel, it is more like motel! totally different from the picture. outmost disappointing hotel. never , ever choose it again

The young man at the front counter was very nice, but I had asked for a quiet room and the room was facing the main street and NOT quiet. Also warm and not so comfortable for sleeping.

Breakfast was good with much to choose from. There is a lift/elevator. The staff was friendly. The dark curtains were only for part of the window. The room had light from outside entering at night and made it difficult for proper sleep.

This hotel was a nice place to stay for a business trip. It is located close to the train station and to downtown. The rooms are small but adequate. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and they all speak English.

fantastic stay

Close to Hauptbahnhof and central bus stop, thus pretty convenient. Rather noisy neighborhood at night (foot traffic, not vehicle traffic). And since Germans don't believe in ventilation ("Es zieht!") one has the choice of having the window open and putting up with noise, or closing the window and being hot and stuffy.
