When we first arrived the room was clean and comfortable. We were staying for 8 nights. Our room wasn't serviced for 4 days so I took our trash to the office and asked for a new trash bag. Office staff just took the trash and handed me a new trash bag. The next evening our room had still not be serviced so went to the front desk and asked how often they serviced rooms. The lady asked how long it had been since our room was serviced. I said never. She seemed shocked asked the room number and said she had it scheduled. Next day a lady came in swept the floor, asked if we needed towels, we got those, a roll of toilet paper etc. The pool area outside our room always had a LOT of bird poop which you had to always try to walk around. It was never cleaned. The pool itself was always dirty with bird droppings and feathers. On the 7th day when we returned to the room our key didn't work. Went to the office and were told our 8 day reservation was over. Did we want to extend our stay? Good grief! Ended up being charged for 2 more nights. Our floor was gritty from not being cleaned and I was overchared and got no room service. I will say the breakfast in the mornings were good and Katie who was the breakfast attendant was helpful, friendly, and very cheerful. A kudos to her! Our total stay cost $782.96. We could probably have rented an apartment for that amount. Extremely disappointed in the usually high end Quality Inn.
