Hotel room was dirty. Had to pay extra just to have a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The tv stopped working the 2nd night so was moved to another room. Had to pay for parking. Hotel needs updated!!

Seemed like a hotel that had seen its prime. Only one garbage can and two large bath towels. Coffee maker not very good. Restaurant: ate breakfast there but chef was server and brought us a pot of tea not coffee. Power went out for several hours during a thunderstorm. Very large hotel but seemed kinda empty. However convent location to downtown and beds comfortable.

Extremely outdated, super cheap pillows (they don’t even have king size pillows for their king rooms) and it gives off an unclean vibe because of how outdated it is but honestly it was a fine stay. Overpriced for sure though.

The staff were the best....very friendly but the cleanliness of bedding and shower curtain wasn't tolerable. Towels had stains that should not be visual because if washed properly and being white woukd not look dirty. Shower curtain had apparent mold stains from need of replacement. Small frig has been neglected in its cleaning routine as well.

This stay was perfect! We put in a request for the top floor and they were able to get us into a top floor room! The view was so cool. The pool was nice and warm. The fire alarms went off around 12am which may not have been pleasant for someone there for business, but what can you do! JC fire department dealt with it fairly swiftly. Hotel front desk attendants were friendly and chatty.

We reserved a king standard room and got a queen size bed. Th room was freezing even after turning the thermostat up. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and only 3 pillows available for a bed that’s supposed to sleep 2 people. The water pressure in the shower was pathetic and there was no hot water about 5 minutes into the shower. We were not impressed and felt that room was not worth what they charged us.

This was probably the cleanest hotel room I have had in a long time and I have stayed at a variety of hotels. The staff was very friendly and it was not a stressful check in or check out. It is also really close to stores and shops and restaurants so very easy to get around to places. I would stay here again!

Was told by front desk that hotel was fully booked and no rooms were available. Check online and there were at least 10 rooms available. Lori at the front desk was reluctant to be helpful. After checking in, overheard a customer ask front desk if the a/c was going to be fixed. It would have been nice to know at check in that there was no a/c. Was not given the needed voucher to have the breakfast that was included in the reservation. No outside food or drinks are allowed. Breakfast could have been better considering the price of the stay. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable.

The Fri night staff was great in accommodating us when Expedia overbooked and was unhelpful in getting us a room elsewhere. My fault there. I will never use Expedia or 3rd party again. The rate and availability seemed to good to be true during Mizzou grad weekend but we needed a room. Except for the staff member that took pity on my husband at check in, the overall experience was very bad. Lots of reviews saying it was outdated but clean and I could have lived with that. That couldn't have been further from the truth. Hallways outside of the rooms looked they had never been vacuumed. Plaster and paint were crumbled. Our room reaked of cigarette smoke. The ceiling was low making the room feel even more dark and dingy. Huge red stain on the pull out couch mattress where our preschooler would be sleeping prompted us to try to switch rooms. That room also smelled like cigarette smoke and it hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests. We didn't see any maintenance or housekeeping staff the entire weekend. Went to get an extra set of towels on Saturday night and they said come back at 9:45 when they are done being laundered. Went back at 10 and was told they had no access to towels. I have never in my life stayed at a hotel that ran out of towels, not even the cheapest motel or busiest high end hotel. This is definitely an ownership issue. Website was full of false advertising. Clearly the hotel needs an overhaul and they need to be hiring more staff and probably paying better.

First room they gave us had someone in it. They put a $50 hold on our card, no big deal, but they are not releasing the funds for a month after checkout, which is ridiculous.

I rated cleanliness low cause rooms weren't ready but since mine was suppose to be i was upgraded to a Pure (purified) room . Not a fan of no refrigerator or microwave. But u sale a 6 dollar water. Spider webs in elevator. Seems like hotel is lacking staff. Food was good only problem were the drum of wing wasnt fully cooked. Price was good. For a quick weekend stay well worth it. I had room for 7 days.
