1st the good. Snowmobile friendly. Hot tub was mandatory and was working. Bar/diner was decent, staff were friendly and accommodating, service was very slow, presumably from seasonal volume. Now the bad, for me at 200 per night in Pembroke ON, the details count. Front door was manual, moving hockey gear and sled gear was ponderous and alot of work. Public bathroom, no towels for 3 days. Toilet paper dispenser was jail grade. And the girl at the front desk with the neck tattoos constantly smoking and pre occupied with her phone threw me off. Not rude, but definitely not friendly. I'd come back, but you get what you give in hospitality.

One of the better best westerns I’ve stayed at. A little remote. Staff could be more enthusiastic and engaging but solid restaurant. Service was good.

The facility is top notch with all the amenities including a nice restaurant. Rooms were clean and spacious, looked to have been completely renovated 3-5years ago. The only criticisms i have was the lack of usb type plugs and the body wash and conditioner bottles in the shower were empty. Otherwise, a great stay

Service was excellent at restaurant and the staff of the hotel were amazing. The pool area looks like it could use some repairs and updating as well as the room had some issues with the phone, outlet and thermostat. Also could have been more attention to detail in the cleanliness of the bathroom. Was disappointed to walk in and see men’s beard hairs stuck to the top of the tissue paper box and tissue on sink. Overall for the price of 230 for a night I found it not worth the value.
