Not cheap by any means, but…. Great Rooms, Great Staff, Great Food, Clean, Quiet! It is almost like a Hilton Hotel, but if Hilton were to take this place over, they would ruin it. Third time staying. Will be back again.

We stayed at The Manor House and Spa overnight, with time in the spa, dinner and breakfast. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. Friendly, helpful staff who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Outstanding and spotless spa facilities, including swim up bar, herbal steam room and a salt room meditation. Our food was out of this world with excellent service. Thoroughly recommend.

Since changing their focus to a spa-hotel, the service has deteriorated. The attitude of the front desk is snooty and not always very competent. It is convenient for us so we stay anyway. The restaurants are fine and the rooms are adequate.

The staff at this hotel were friendly and professional, but also went out of their way with customer service. The outdoor spa area was gorgeous, peaceful and such a special treat. I would definitely book again.

A great hotel stay, the room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The spa and facilities were amazing ! Highly recommended.

The property was good, but it was a hot day and they don't have AC in rooms. They provide a fan and windows that open, but then a bee flew in. Button for turning on hot towel rack wasn't marked, so we had that heat, too. Though they sent someone up to the room to explain about the switch for the towel rack. Food was very good and included in our room rate.

The hotel and facilities were lovely, the staff were super help and the food in Stables was delicious.

Spa was amazing lots of undercover space as it rained !! 2 x swim up bars / all staff were amazing too. The hotel itself was lovely all staff were so helpful for walks and village information from breakfast to bar and evening meal, only issue is that lunch is not available. Also no lifts and if older people would struggle getting upstairs.

Lovely stay, feeling very relaxed. Room was very clean and comfy. Could do with a some uk plug sockets near the bedside tables. The sockets there were not usable. There were other sockets available, but not many. Breakfast was good, dinner was amazing!! Access to the indoor pool, sauna and steam room was perfect for relaxing.

Enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean with comfy bed. The food we had at dinner and breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

I dont often leave reviews, probably because I seem to spend half my life in hotels with work, but the Manor House Hotel deserves some serious plaudits. From the minute I arrived I have been seriously impressed at every turn. From the well balanced professionalism/friendliness of all the staff, the superb 3 course dinner (the Pork & Scallops starter is the best I've had with the Scallops cooked to perfection) to the stunning Spa facilities (particularly the outdoor area) The room is clean, bed comfortable and a great shower. Not really sure what more I or anyone could really ask for! Top Class and I'll be back.

Check what you’re booking. I thought we’d booked a spa stay, we went into the outdoor pool and jacuzzi area to be escorted out as it wasn’t our package. Not handled very well by the staff, it was embarrassing. Had dinner in the restaurant it was very over seasoned steak, left me very thirsty. Nice surroundings, nice building, just a shame how they treat their customers.

Lots of beds and little nooks and crannies to explore. Music playing at swim up bar. Wonderful staff, wonderful experience. Would definitely go again

Overall we loved our stay, the food was the highlight. Would highly recommend the evening menu, top class and great value too. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Next was the steam room which was. The pool was nice, but a bit shallow and small. A jacuzzi would have been great. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. The bed was a bit a letdown ans a bit wobbly annd unfortunately also there weee marks on the duvet and the bath robe, which was a shame.

Upon arrival the place is just stunning, came to pay for the room only to be told no cash, nothing jumps out on the website to say it’s cashless. This was disappointing to us due to my husband selling motorbike we thought we treat ourselves to a little spa and a night away with the cash., luckily we did have our credit card with us if we didn’t have this we would have in stuck! This would have been very unfortunate for us and somewhat embarrassing. This was booked for our 33rd anniversary. The room was okay, the bathroom was so tiny! Indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room lovely. Restaurant also very lovely, food was lovely but came out too quick! As for the spa facilities outside, absolutely stunning, the sun was out which made it even more special🤗. Overall stay, we will definitely give it 8/10. Definitely was returned for the spa.
