We liked the friendly family atmosphere of the hotel. The dining areas were modern and the food was excellent. The staff could not do enough to help us with anything we needed...eg a missing towel in the room etc The transport to the beach was really easy and ran every 15 mins. There were always sun loungers available both at the pool and beach which made it very relaxed. We didnt like that we had to pay for water at mealtimes 4 euros for a small bottle 500mls) which is quite steep and all drinks were quite expensive. 7 euris for basic glass of rose wine. Our initial family room was dark with some mould around the bath but we were moved to a much nicer room when we were complained which was 2 rooms on split level which was qhat we thought we had booked originally anyway? It was 10 times better than the first room.

Like the property setup, but felt it lacked atmosphere and was very quite Buffet was good but no other dining options Checkin - we were early at the resort but the hotel could not facilitate slightly earlier checkin so hanging around for 3/4 hours was tiring specially having left UK at very early hours !!

The service was ok but I had higher expectations. There was no iron and iron board. Breakfast was ok but no options for vegans. The taxi from the hotel to the airport was 130 Euro. This was not an independent taxi company but a service from the hotel. Staff, especially at breakfast can’t speak English. So my experience was rather disappointing.

We had a lovely time at the resort. Apart from the beach and pool, there was nothing inclusive we could do at the resort without having to pay for it.

This property is very different from how it's portrayed on their website. Given the high nightly rate, I felt our stay wasn't worth the cost. While it's great that breakfast, dinner, and children's activities are included, there were some significant drawbacks. Breakfast is served at 7:30 AM, but there's no way to get coffee outside of that time. They also have a very strict no take-away policy, which can be quite uncomfortable. For example, I have an infant who was often asleep during breakfast hours, so I wanted to bring some food back to him, but this was discouraged. In another instance, when my friends and family were dining in the children's area, a friend of mine—who is a paying guest—was actually reprimanded for eating food from his son's plate, food that likely would have gone to waste. Additionally, it was disappointing to have to pay for flat water at a resort that's already so expensive. There should be water filling stations readily available to guests. On the positive side, the children's program is excellent, and the staff running it are phenomenal. The beach of course is beautiful and the hotel did a good job of offering towels, lounge chairs, and umbrellas.

The location of this property is excellent for access to the Chia beaches. Beautiful resort style grounds, with great amenities for families and adults. Excellent breakfast and dinner. If you want to relax Sardinian style, this is the place to go.

This was the perfect family holiday. Chia Laguna - Hotel Village is perfect for families with young kids. The staff and kids club were just brilliant. Great food on the half board basis, good size room with nice bathrooms and really comfy beds. Property is well looked after and the pools and beach are fantastic. Would recommend and would definitely return for an easy, fun and relaxing family trip.

The resort is good for families with lots of children around. We should have picked adults only resort. Staff is friendly but rather manic and the service is a little all over the place. Our room and our bed were good, but smelly drains. With half board package do expect to still pay for water and drinks - we were disappointed that there were no drinks included. Only coffee / tee for breakfast and some orange juice and water for dinner. Charging 3,50 euro for water at breakfast should be made a crime.

If you were expecting a 4 star you will be disappointed by the Village. If you just want a half decent place to stay then it's fine. The village rooms are in need in refurbishment, there isn't any room service and you will struggle to find any good food other than a very expensive ham and cheese sandwich between the hours of 12-7.30. If you want to stay at this resort stay at the hotel. It's above and beyond the Village or Oazi. The Village I would not recommend...

Had a lovely time at Chia Laguna with my wife and 3 year old daughter. The hotel itself is very nice with beautiful surroundings and great food in the restaurants. The weather wasn't perfect as we went at the start of May (warm but a bit windy) but we still had an amazing time. We enjoyed taking the train to the beach, which was beautiful, clean and not crowded due to the time of year. Our daughter had a great time at the Kid's Club every day and I must thank Jennifer, Anas and Giada for taking good care of Ria and making all the activities so much fun. We also did a couple of excursions and Nicola at the excursions desk was incredibly helpful. The Spa is great too!

We booked a room for couples only and found out on arrival that this did not mean couples only and was not an adult area. We had a screaming baby in the room next door which does not make for a relaxing holiday. It meant that singles could not book these rooms. They claimed to have satellite TV which was only news channels. the buffet was very hit and miss. we went for dinner at 8.30 on a few occasions only to be told there were no tables and to return half an hour later. On our return there were tables but no food that appeared edible apart from the pasta which was cooked fresh. When we complained to reception, there was no interest shown apart from telling us that we should go to dinner at 7.30 - with all the children - I don't think so. As there was nothing else in the immediate area it gave the resort to opportunity to charge exhorbitant prices for drinks!!!

The resort comprises a hotel and village complex which share amenities, many of which were closed during our stay (out of high season). This affected us due to bad weather - plenty of amenities for kids and men, not much for ladies (e.g. spa closed) - only free gym, exercise classes, "emotional" shower and sauna (extra) available to us. Our booking was for a classic cottage and we were put in a normal hotel-type room with a very poor balcony - not much seating area and you had to stand up to see over the wall/lower roof. We were told we could use La Terrasse and Bougainville restaurants - the former is a la carte with fabulous food and made our stay, the latter is a cafeteria buffet style eating area which is very noisy and crowded by delegates attending courses/seminars on the resort - it was a bit like school dinners. Waiters said we couldn't use La Terrasse later in the week (being Village guests) but we stood our ground given the foregoing (embarrassing) - we began to feel a bit second class. Its also a bit strange to see people (delegates) walking about in suits/formal clothes particularly around the pool area. Overall a nice place but depends on the weather being good. Our decision to hire a car for airport transfers proved to be the best idea (some people had transfers included in their price) as it enabled us to get about during bad weather.

Firstly before I put my moans in, we had a nice time. The vast majority of the staff were helpful, weather great etc. HOWEVER The room I felt was nowhere near 4 star. Having paid a lot of money (with cheap easyjet flights it still came to what you can get for a good all inclusive in the Carribean !!) with no free drinks or lunchtime food thrown in as you would get out there. Quite the opposite, everything was really expensive. There are no local Supermarkets so you are stuck paying their prices for all food and drink !!. Even when I wanted an iron (none in the room or tea or coffee making faccilities) I was told none was available and wasnt allowed (yet I have been to Italy many times and never had a problem obtaining). Also renting a car just never happened. I know its busy in August, but a 4 star hotel should have some 'clout' and provision,. THATS WHY YOU PAY EXTRA !!. oN THE WHOLE THIS HOTEL DOES NOT REPRESENT VALUE FOR MONEY IN MY OPINION
