A really friendly and welcoming hotel. I have stayed at other Scandic brand hotels in other cities before and have always had an excellent experience. This was no exception. The hotel is a little way out of Gothenburg, but has excellent transport links - the tram line is a 2 minute walk from the hotel and you can be in the city centre in 15 minutes. Room and facilities were in excellent condition and very clean. The retractable washing line in the bathroom was a very welcome feature. The breakfast buffet offered an excellent selection, including pancakes and a make-your-own waffle station. I wasn't travelling with kids, but I really liked the fact that there is a large play area adjacent to the dining room, so that small people can get stuck in to some serious soft play while their grown-ups enjoy breakfast! I would definitely recommend this hotel, and would consider staying again during my next visit to Gothenburg
