Staff were friendly

Every thing was good for an overnight stay.

The beds were comfortable and I appreciate having the toilet & shower in a separate room from the sink. Also, the staff were helpful and friendly. However, the soundproofing was terrible. You could hear the pipes screeching, which wasn’t a great thing to wake up to after an 8-hour drive. You could easily hear guests outside the room, and the doors beeped when they weren’t fully closed, so we were woken up by a constant, consistent beeping sound that keep going for so long because another guest had left their room open. To be fair, all the doors were really sticky and tough to shut properly. Which leads me to the condition of the hotel. That hot tub looked dank. My husband and I love hot tubs and were looking forward to a soak, but neither of us wanted to step foot in that tub. I had a shower and the water screeched the whole time. And there were scunge marks all over the walls. I probably wouldn’t stay here again, given that there are several other hotels in Kamloops.

Shopping in Valmount is limited however this is a very good property.

Very nice hotel, clean rooms, nice bed. Excellent breakfast! Stuff very helpful. I will return. I travelled with my little dog

Great staff at front counter and nice clean rooms

The staff was lovely. The door to my room seemed a bit off kilter. It looked as though there may have been a break in and there had been a patch job on the door. Then a concrete truck started up at 7:30 in the morning for construction next door. That isn’t the hotel’s fault, but it didn’t help to improve my stay.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Quality of free breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful. The only inconvenience was that the toilet of the room was clogged but maintenance guy came and fixed it within 30 mins of our arrival. Overall, our stay was great.

Expensive. The hotel is not in good condition for the price charged.

Close to hospital

Woke up to minimum 5 bed bugs in my bed. Left the Hotel at 3am after they couldn’t give me another room/option. All of Kamloops was booked full, so no sleep for me. Called me later to tell me pest control is taking care of the bugs and when I return I shall let them know so I can get the best treatment. When I said I wouldn’t ever book again, I was assured there are no bugs in the building………….. yeah. They’re booked full tonight again. Poor person who gets that room. Loved throwing all my stuff away and wash what was washable on a work trip. Got the night refunded but spent half of the night outside and had hours of cleaning work to get rid of those bugs.

Nice clean facility. Staff so far have been great. Have stayed here before, and will stay here again in the future.

Air conditioning unit was loud and didn’t work very well! Couldn’t cool down room! Pool water wasn’t clean

It was a nice room and quiet , good continental breakfast as well , nice stay and will be back !

A little shabby in the maintenance department, but otherwise a pleasant stay. Breakfast was better than expected.

The free mini golf was a bonus!

Overall a good stay. Breakfast was excellent. Parking and arriving can be a bit tricky.
