Beautiful historic property with interesting history. Excellent food. Great staff

Lovely, charming getaway from Stockholm yet accessible to the city. The property offers a lake view and walking trails, as well as an extensive breakfast!

Cozy place by the water . Clean room and beautiful place

Didn’t expect the drive to be so far away from airport late at night. Also inconvenient to park far away from lodging with a lot of baggage to carry. The breakfast was very delicious though.

Nice hotel, good food although the restaurant was relatively expensive. Stayed twice and prefer staying in the main building as it is annoying having to cross the courtyard for breakfast in the rain

This place was stunning in a great location with a yummy breakfast. Sunday is a very quiet night to stay as it’s mainly used for conferences.

Nice and friendly reception and the room was clean and comfortable. Locationwise this is bit of out-of-the way but this was just overnight stay between my flights so not a problem.

Last minute booking due to our flight cancellation but the staff were very pleasant, rooms were clean and comfortable breakfast was lovely.

Great hotel on the lake and great brunch. Quiet rooms with a theater theme. The lake is nice to walk around and next to a horse farm. The only downside was the gravel driveway which is impossible to pull luggage on. It ruined the wheels of my suitcase. And no one to help carry luggage inside.

Ideal for the traveller who yearns tranquility

This is a good hotel for those commuters on way to Stockholm but have a hire car and want an easy stay without parking difficulties. The food is of a high standard and good selection of wines and beers. The hotel rooms are very small though so if you plan on working it is better to use the communal rooms in each wing of the hotel which are comfortable with accompanying water and coffee sevices or indeed the hotel bar and restaurant area. Breakfast is good but service and response was a little slow on given day of arrival. Overall a good alternative to staying in city.

This is a lovely hotel in the beautiful Swedish countryside. Our room, in the main building, looked out on the lake for a stunning sunset. We arrived just before the dining room closed for dinner service, however, they served us a delicious salad with chicken, and never rushed us to finish our meal. Although the bathroom was small, it was completely modern. The entire staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I would enjoy another stay here, if I returned to the area.

Excellently furnished personal hotel with good services. Only drawback is the extremely early check-out, 10 am and the early close of the breakfast, 9 am. (On week days). This sets down the overall rating of an otherwise most enjoyable mid-week get-away.

Very nice hotel, limited menu is the only negative point I can think of.

Inte anpassat för weekend för par. Ingen restaurang öppen för lunch el fika och inte heller några större ytor att vistas på. Mer konferensställe. Jättegod mat och sköna sängar: Kul karaokerum med utklädnad för partyfolket!
