Property was wonderful, but the neighborhood was dirty

this gem was tucked away and barely noticeable from the bustle of the streets. warm staff greeted you at the top of the stairway and bags were carried to a our spotless room overlooking the busy streets of San Jose. Boutique hotel adorned with plants and accent wooden beams. breakfast was the highlight, with a variety of fruits, rice and beans, hash, and breads to satisfy our vegan diet, accompanied with good coffee made for a solid start to a day of exploring.

The hotel was well located and our room was comfortable. The hotel restaurant was excellent.

Very cool designed hotel. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very tasty and a good selection of hot and cold food. The restaurant was also very good with a lovely rooftop terrace for food/drinks. Safe location to walk around outside, and with secure on site parking. Our room was clean, comfortable but no frills - worked well for a two night stay but not as stylish as the hotel itself. We would recommend staying here for a short stay in San Jose.

We had a great stay here! Hotel is within walkable distance to a lot of other restaurants/shops. The ambience was great and they have excellent breakfast (free!) options. The room has basic amenities. The only issue was the AC stopped working on day 2, but otherwise, everything else was good. Their roof top restaurant also has good menu options.

Very clean rooms. Staff was incredibly attentive and polite. Adjoining casino was a pleasant surprise. Rooftop restaurant and bar was lovely. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel and rooftop patio. Standard king size room had a very tiny bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Rooms are older. Room service was great. Friendly staff but the food from the restaurant was very poor. Something typical a simple as Arroz con pollo was terrible. They were very accommodating and took it off our bill. The dulce de leche croissant pudding was fantastic! The hotel is in the center of the city and with minimal traffic is 40 minutes from airport with traffic 1.5 hours.

The room was amazing. The whole hotel was even better than we expected. Great staff and insane views of the city!
