Bathroom was not clean, hair in shower. Side table tops also noted cleaned. Bed linens had been changed. Excellent location.

Reception staff were very helpful with info about the area and restaurant options nearby.

Great location, outside of city centre but easily accessible via train. Great local area, lots of bars, restaurants etc. The restaurant in the hotel is also fantastic and excellent service is provided. Rooms are spacious and clean and worth paying extra for a view of the bridge.

Great staff who assisted us no end. Hotel a little difficult to spot as you drive down the hill - better signage for hotel and their garage would be helpful. Right next to a remarkable river crossing.

We stayed at the property before starting walking the Camino Norte. This is a high end hotel but is reasonably priced. The hotel is located in an old historical building in Portugalete right next to the unique hanging bridge. We enjoyed our stay here.

This cute, clean hotel is centrally located to shops and restaurants. Our room had a view of the river which was a huge plus! Staff was very friendly.

Terrific location. 30mins drive from airport and 30mins Metro to central Bilbao. Delicious, fresh and wide range of breakfast foods. Helpful staff.

Chaotic start to our stay when we could not access the hotel parking garage.A film crew was using the hotel as a location and their security had taped off the entrance to the garage.Bizarrely the hotel receptionist was completely unaware of the inaccessibility.We managed to park in a nearby public multi storey car park which only cost €7.50/day compared to €19 at the hotel. We had a river view room which was spacious & the view of the bridge & river is spectacular. There are extremely limited evening dining options in the area.We were lucky to get a table in the hotel bar as it was busy and chaotic.I had not been advised at check in that booking in advance was advisable and we were not given any information about breakfast. The hotel is a convenient 15 minute drive from the ferry port at Bilbao but quite a distance from the city centre.Be aware the area behind the hotel is extremely hilly and the nearest train station is 500m away, if you are arriving by public transport & have a lot of luggage.It is a lovely hotel but I feel the staff could do with further customer service training.

Everything was great!! My only recommendation would be for them to switch their soaps/shampoo& body wash because it was making my hands over dried and peel!

The hotel was excellent, location, service and attention we received. One thig to note: if you have a long car the parking spaces can be difficult to get into.
