Exceptional! Great place. Highly recommend.

It is an older property, but very nicely renovated. There is NO elevator, so be prepared for at least one flight of stairs. It was easily accessed, easy parking. As a single woman, I felt safe outside in the neighborhood. This hotel is NOT ADA compliant and is not arthitic knee friendly.

For the price it was worth the stay. Conveniently located next to the beach. Good coffee/tea cafes nearby.

No breakfast included but you can’t beat the price for staying in San Francisco close to the beach.

The property was old but it shows newly renovated and the inside is clean and no smell. The guy in the reception was very nice and accommodating. Parking was free based on availability but its not gated. I cannot say about the total safety of the area but I will stay again as needed.

Standard hotel, close to the beach and right across a trolley station. Quiet in the surrounding area, spacious and clean room and bathroom. Close to Golden Gate Park and the SF Zoo. Will return. Free parking was a great bonus, first come first serve though

There was a lot of commotion due to the train being right outside but that was to be expected. Otherwise a great stay all around. Good value.

Included parking was a plus. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Hotel is old but well maintained. Bed was comfortable and the heating worked well in chilly SF. No elevator so if that is important this may not work for you. Certainly worth the money if you are looking for a convenient place to stay. Just be aware that the beaches in SF are cold and foggy so this is not a beach place. We would definitely stay here again.

Very easy, great price, huge room, lovely oceanside location. It's bare bones and the outside is a bit rough looking, but overall value is incredible. I usually stay in up market places, but this will be my go to in the Sunset

This is an inexpensive hotel with no amenties. The property is clean but is showing its age. Location is one block from Ocean Beach, so great if you're a surfer or like to walk on the beach. Golden Gate is within walking distance, but all of the museums are a long ways East. The hotel is on the same street as the N Judah trolley, which can take you downtown. There are no rooms at ground level, and there is no elevator in this 4-story building, so it's not ADA friendly.

The shower didn’t get hot enough.

The location is prime! N train stop right there and all the restaurants nearby. The beach is right there. But the motel is loud, between the outside sounds and inside sounds, it's a lot. Overall the rooms are clean and beds are super comfy. My biggest issue is with the front desk being unavailable most of the time. I would come down and ring the doorbell and no one would come. On the day we were leaving I tried to check out and make sure everything was good to go, no one came to the window at all, we had to go to catch the taxi to the airport so left without knowing if we did everything correctly. If you are staying for the beach experience and don't care about amenities, it's the spot. Bring ear plugs and you will be set. Very relaxed and laid back area and you can take public transportation to anywhere in the city from that point.
